One of the lithium converts from the early days of the private forum, made a white square pole he could hammer into the ground, when no one was looking, and it had a tap and a power point mounted to the pole. He would fill the pole with water and an leave the tap slow dripping with a container under it to catch the drips, then plug his power cord into the 240vac outlet. Each night he would refill the pole with water.
A few came over and asked if they could fill their bucket from the tap. naturally it would run out of water to which he'd explain that they were having trouble with the power as well, must be a problem further up the line and the pump wasn't running
He reckoned he could see the jockeying for position to take their spot when the were packing up to go, I can imagine the frustration when the water and power pole wasn't there anymore
