From my reading of their product line description in the email I received from WRVC, it seems the only thing that will change is the name on the front.
All the light switches will still be UP for 'on'.

Well, Well, Well, I was speaking to a Winnebago/Avida rep this morning and he informed me that Winnebago Australia has won their court appeal. I have done a quick search on the net but can't find anything. Has anyone read this anywhere?

In April at the Maryborough Rally all the new ones on display were badged as Avida and all the flags were flying with the Avida name on them.

That's because they wanted to launch the AVIDA name for this years show circuit just in case the appeal didn't go well.

It was on the carvanner forum a week or so back, after reading the courts findings, I'm not sure I would call it a win as such, I don't think they are allowed to use the name still, I think it had more to do with points of law, like who started using the name in 1978 and who the name was transferred to in 1982, it really looks like they may have dug an even deeper hole for themselves after the original builder put on record the reason why he adopted the name. It appears they have never had permission to use it, at least that was what I could understand from the court papers

I will wait for comment from Winnebago before I add any further. But I will say that their stand on having permission to use the name has never changed and they state that in various documents.
