Sunland caravans go lithium...

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Terry we are thrilled with the set up. As I said, not a missed beat, aside from the minor hassle in Winton. It is now running the fridge (compressor) in the van, our garage fridge, the Engel in the Landcruiser and the Chrissy lights in the Lemon Myrtles in our front yard! We will never go back to AGMs.
Cheers

Glad they are working Ok. You just got rid of the old ones in time as they failed shortly afterwards
The other day when it was really hot I ran my aircon for about 5 hours in the afternoon as it was too hot to do anything so I laid on the bed reading.
20 degrees on the bed 34 outside and when I looked at the Pl 40 I was still creating more power than I was using..
I was still able to run aircon for two hours before going to bed while I sat outside chatting, so I had a nice cool van to go to bed and then just ran the fan for the night. I think when I went to bed the SOC was about 92% or there abouts so plenty for the next day.
I know the experts will say I can't do it but then I am a very slow learner.
I had a group of GreyNomads come to my bus to day for an inspection and they were very impressed. Another three members to the lithium world I think.
My morning routine is a hot breckie on the induction stove and hot toast in the 240v toaster (both at the same time) and then a hot cup of coffee from my Aldi machine and then boil the water to wash up the dishes on the induction stove.
Would never go back to old batteries and when people see what I can do they are impressed.
Today overcast and raining but with some sun bursts and I got 140AH @ 24v but then I did not get to full so none wasted but I did catch up a lot from the two days of bad weather. Still raining here now but just had a great rainbow with both ends in the lake and a full arch on one and a halve on the other and both visible at the same time.

Brian
