Safe travells Lesley we are not far behind you only 8 more sleeps and we head off, we just might see you on the road somewhere but I think we are going in defferent directions. Travel safe and take care looking forward to hearing about your travels..

Thanks Ros. You are heading north aren't you? We are heading south. So maybe if we are heading towards the same spot we could meet up. Only problem is we don't know which way we are going. Probably Stanthorpe, across to Texas and down to Bingara. Where we go from there is anyone's guess. Do you have a definite route planned?

Hi Lesley, We are actually doing two trips this year, the first one is Gippsland and up as far as Batemans Bay from Next week until June, mainly hugging the coast, will be in Bunyip first to attend a Wedding over the long weekend and my mothers 84th Birthday, then we will be heading along the Gippsland coast to do a spot of fishing and free camping, then Lakes Entrance, Marlo for Easter and some of the school Holidays then Eden, then finally Batemans Bay before turning around and heading back to Marlo we stay at Relative there in their backyard and the boys do a bit of fishing, then back to the Lakes and finally home about the 1st June, when we have to attend to a few Doc's. appointmets etc. before packing up again and heading north up the centre form about the 1st July give or take a day or two ( hope to call in on Dot if she is still home on the way through) and across to Borroloola for a few weeks then working our way home through the Qld Gem Fields, out to the coast at Yeppoon to catch up with friends, then down to Toowoomba to see my brother then home through NSW and a few dips in some hot artesian pools on the way arriving home at the end of Oct. So thats the plan give or take a few changed directions on the way, we make a ruff plan but often change directions as we go, depends on what we find, we have been know to completly change direction over the morning cuppa we hope to do a lot of free camping on the way..

Sounds like a couple of great trips, Ros but I don't think we'll cross your path unless it is in Vic. 1st June we need to be in Winton to start a tag-along across The Outback Way. Maybe we will have to wait until Easter 2014 to catch up.
