Just thought i'd let all you fellow travellers know I'm on the Spirit tomorrow night heading towards Queensland.
via Bathurst, the Black Swamp way, and fossicers way. Staying at Stanthorpe for a few days at my daughters then going to the Winter nations at willowbank then making my way all the way to Charlesville. Then home by the Kidman way.

After all you guys have said I'm not sure I want to bother! But when we light the big BBQ here I will chuck it in and see if its edible after. We also have heaps of pumpkin here, ....yesterday we had stuffed pumpkin done in the fire and it was yummy. I don't like pumpkin soup so I have to think of other ways to cook it! Risotto comes to mind....

Do a Flo, Pumpkin scones, or be a yank and do a pumpkin pie or pumpkin paella

Pumpkin soup is good if you chop bacon up & fry same still just cooked with onion & then add pumpkin & a litre of chicken stock.
My mother in law use to make great rio pies with sugar & lemon in it.

We seem to be out organizing any thing, past tomorrow, and even that is liable to change. We are camped in Darwin region at the moment will stay here doing a spot of dog sitting, until the 18th June, (see we can plan ahead when someone does it for us) and then heading in the direction of Booroloola, not sure after that.

We are at Archer creek just south of Ravenshoe, we will be off to Ravenshoe tomorrow morning may stay there for two days and see the attractions. Then to Atherton and mareeba.
I have had no phone or internet on this inland trip I guess the people who make this stuff live in the citys or only on the coast.
