Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

What a day, I'm knackered. We headed to Mannum this morning, dropped the bus off at mechanics then popped over the road for morning tea at the T1 shed, helped Sherill get her new fridge into her MH ready for the lad to finish the install off then we all headed to the Marina as we were the slackies for da man. 16 huge solar panels to be hoisted up to the roof of the houseboat. I was getting the panels ready for Margaret & Sherril to hoist the panel against a ladder up to Gman and the boat owner then to T1 to do whatever he did  Brian turned up for a bit, Bruce also stopped by and I went for a stroll around the marina perusing the boats. Got a call to say the bus was finished so G and I headed off and picked the bus up. Nothing serious and so we were happy . By this time it was getting dark so Gman headed home ahead of me due to he has trouble driving in the dark, It was actually the first time I had driven the bus in the dark and the lights were great. Anyway home but tired and ready for bed so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Darryl & Annette xx :D :D

No wonder you're knackered Dot. Sounds like quite a different sort of day. We had a dog that all the neighbours complained about. Funny, they kept complaining even when we took dog away with us on holidays. Wasn't our dog at all. The whingers got a shock, when I told council that these people were really just trying to intimidate us by complaining about untrue activities. We heard no more after that. Obviously, you have a different situation, and I do hope that you get some recordings of the pesky puppies and get council to act asap. xxxx

Today we drove to JB HiFi to get a dash camera for the tow vehicle. After much reading etc, we bought one that will need our sparky caravan man to install. Hopefully we will have the door handle soon and I will get the man out to do all our little jobs at the same visit.

I put a couple of whisky bottles in to flatten tonight. That should be different. They only have very short necks, so when I turn them over to make a handle, the handles are very short. It still gives something to be able to pick them up with and that's all I want to have on them.

GUESS WHO's FOOTY TEAM WON TONIGHT? :D :D :D :D
The mighty Bombers flattened St Kilda tonight although their goal kicking was way off but we won. This win has made Tanks, Wayno, Bob n Bev and me very happy. 3 loads of washing done today.GP rang this morning for a chat and has authorized our 4 jab. G and I did some breaking up some kindling wood and tomorrow G will use the bench sae to do the bigger bits and if no rain I shall be having a burn off of the small branches from the shrubs. Got the forms from the council for the continual barking of the neighbors dogs. The dogs stared off again today but a voice emerged yelling SHUT UP & GET IN, from the screeching tones of the dog owner. Hmmm maybe she heard me saying "they are back at it"  Have a good weekend everyone. Goodnight one and all x :D Goodnight Rossp x :D

Dot, you just reminded me of some dog memorials. Did you hang them yet ,or are you saving them for your next home? Scruffy certainly was cute. We had our fourth jabs a couple of weeks ago. As I don't trust the pfeiser company, they are shonky business people, we had to go to our chemist to get the moderna ones. We are still alive to tell the tale. xxxx

I was given the supervisory task of watching where his nibs planted my lily and Dutch Iris bulbs. He wouldn't allow me to plant them but as I usually do plant them where I want to see them flowering, I had to be there for him. So after supervising about 50 bulbs being placed, I was allowed to venture down to my shed. I don't plant them until I can see some form of life, so as they are starting to sprout, it's time to get them in. I want a few bluebells planted (only about 45 of them ) in the top garden at the front of the house. He says that garden will be ready tomorrow. More supervision will be needed gggrr.

In the shed, I loaded up the kiln with the blue blob that is going to be a bit of yard art. It has been sitting on the bench for a while, waiting to be properly cleaned and set up to have hangers fused into the top of it, so that it will hang from a copper stand. Tomorrow, I will know more, as usual. I spent a fair bit of time, designing some pendants using blue glass and sunflowers as reminders of Ukraine. I figure that if we get to Lightning Ridge this year, as planned, there is quite a large community of people from politically unstable areas of Europe who may like them.

"tanks" here---
Yes, I was awake throughout the whole event !!!
The 16th on the ladder beat the nuts off the 6th on the ladder.
What am I talking about---Well, for T-1 and a few "others on the Forum"
the mighty Bombers won the contest against the Saints in the magic game of FOOTBALL.
I went to bed at 11:30 pm last night and I am still awake.
The time is almost 02:00 am Saturday. I can now take my pills, have a hot cuppa and try again for a early morning sleep.
I am soooo excited that it may take me 'till later in the morning to get to sleep, and by then it will be time to get up and check the Forum to see how the early birds are going. Hello BernieQ and the coast Mob.
Keith.
ps: Merry Xmas Terry for your Special day in JUNE
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Still sleeping off the thugby win excitement Dot? xxxx

Weird day today.
Nothing was planned except to plant bluebells. That got thrown aside for a while, after a phone call. Young man rang to say he was coming to do some repairs on our awnings. Turns out, he was sent to do some temporary repairs to stop the winds from ripping the fabric off the steel posts. He had no idea that we had been told about getting the fabric sewn to make it stronger on the actual joins to the posts. So he and his mate spent a couple of hours rejoining the fabric to the posts with fancy string/twine and they left. Annoyingly, when we had the awnings installed, the designer of the product was here to help erect them and he told us that the twine they were using would last longer than us. It lasted 5 years only, so much for non bio-degradable stuff. The twine has totally been destroyed in the last big winds.

Today, this came out of the kiln. Considering it started life as a vase that I made, then got smashed by a fall and now it's garden art. The stand still needs treatment, once I get the stuff from the hammer shop. Can't rush these things. My name for it...The Blue Blob. There is quite a lot of light coming through, but with such thick cloud cover it doesn't show the light.

Deborah I have not hung them as yet because G has been a given a little job to do for the great unveiling, he has got a bit to finish it off but I think it will look great in the end. Started the job of pruning the fruit trees but was taken over by G man so I decided to get rid of the branches off the trees a while ago so the fire was started and within a couple of hrs they were all gone. Would of mulched them but that is over at Mannum in T1's workshop to see if we can swap a part or two from one to the other. Spoke to Norman and Christine today, as usual they were cheerful but still finding it hard to get over the death of their daughter. As with all of us the old ram is finding his aches and pains are not welcome as it is interfering with motorhoming. Was a nicer day today, even got all the washing dry. The blue blob also has those yellow daisy looking flowers. Not Rugby Deborah AFL. Real rugby starting soon (Go the All Blacks) and also the Tour De France next month so I shall be happy :D Time to say Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight HTFFBO x :D

Can't wait to see the unveiling Dot. Nothing beats the satisfaction of burning up all the prunings and making the place look lovely again. xxxx

The kiln gave me a nasty surprise this morning. The controller had an error message, saying that it needs to go back for repairs. I figured that the message meant that a relay isn't working. To check it, I turned the kiln back on and could hear that it wasn't as noisy as usual and only one of the two relays is switching the elements on and off. I will try to see the kiln man soon and get him to show me how to replace the relays and buy a spare set , for next time. Apparently, this is a common problem with kiln controllers. The pendants that were being fired up, are getting a re-run in the old kiln.

Apart from the kiln, it was another cold, rainy miserable day. I cooked up some sweet treats and called it a quiet day.

night all xxx
