Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

… and if you can read the above, thank a teacher!

Well, I’d love to stay for the end of the Men’s Singles @ Wimbledon, which is turning into a massive battle between The Brat from Oz & The Djoker… but I must be up early tomorrow.
G’nite all. 😴 💤

As I expected, the Djoker won the day.
Still, Kyrgios took the fight right up to him, showing that if he can contain his anger and focus it on his tennis, he is a Wimbledon contender… as well as a potential grand slam winner.
Pity he takes it out on the spectators & the ump.
McEnroe eventually settled down.
Maybe next year…

In other news…
SWMBO has departed for Gerringong (where? :?: ) for a few days catching up with a friend making a short return visit from her new home in Nambucca Heads.
So I’m baching & dog-sitting. Sous Chef will take a hammering. Not used to Bachelor Cooking (chops n chips, etc) after 46 years.
Someone once described marriage as “An arrangement where a man gives away half of his groceries to have the other half cooked.” 😁
As I am temporarily without supervision, I was able to spend the afternoon in my PlayPen, making lots of sawdust. :P
I may do the same tomorrow… 😜😁

My god parents owned a holiday house on the water at Gerringong, Kit & Bill Biggs they lived at Narabeen on the lake entrance when at home, you could sit & watch the traffic on Pittwater Rd., across the water.

Deborah, I watched the BOB to the very end then I watched the last 30 mins of the brat match and was ever so pleased with the result. The brat didn't disappoint my expectations of him, told not to wear that crap red cap so he did, didn't address Catherine correctly plus had the bad manners to leave his cap on and so it never ends with that fool. Glad the gentleman of that game won. I will even bet he did assault his X seeing his temper tantrums in public. Rained today but not much. BOB having a rest day today and after those last couple of days they will need a rest ready for the big climbs coming up. My beautiful Claytons daughter in NZ had a cancer in and around her eye today and tomorrow she goes back to theater to have the repair done, she is a fighter so I know she will be fine but she may lose her eye and that most likely cause her to quit the police force. Just need her to be ok. Spoke to the PA to the hand surgeon today seeing she didn't return the call last Friday, her attitude was "do as I say" I told her she was out of line and I probably would not be following through with the op but I would let her know. I then rang my other surg, got appointment for this Wed and most likely be done within a week or so. I will ring the PA and cancel a day before the booked op. Then I will be writing a complaint to !/ the CEO of the hosp and 2/ the surgeon that she represents. At my age I will not take any shit from trumped up little girls behind a desk. So there  Hope all of you are keeping dry warm and bug free.Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Peter and Sandra x :D

Good one Dot. Take no crap from nobody! xxxx

Ray, totally agreed.

We have a slight issue with a roof leak. Last week I left messages for our usual roofer and he just didn't bother to get back to me. Even if he is busy with other leaky roofs, a quick call back wouldn't hurt. I found an ad on our local f**kbook page and called the young man. He is a plumber by trade, but likes to have a variety of things in his day. Not only did he return my call, but he came out this afternoon, when he said he would.

He is a pleasant person and seemed to do a reasonable job. He says that our roof capping is in need of repointing and the really harsh conditions would be enough to cause the drips that we endured. Roof capping, he says, is not urgent, so he will do it when the weather is bit more pleasant, like in September, when we return from gallivanting around the countryside. Our house is 30 years old, so re-pointing is not out of the realms of reasonable for a needed fix. He then looked at our rental and spent a lot of time clearing out a downpipe. That is probably the problem, but he double checked all of the gutters and drains. HIs bill for a couple of hours work? $150 no complaints here.

As most of the day had been spent trying to find a roofer/plumber, the kiln stayed lonely. I was in no mood to go to the shed after all the time in the freezing air with the roofman. Shed can wait until tomorrow. I had a coffee break instead.

Must be the cranky old bitches time to blast off, 1/ We had our roof repaired and painted with that thermo paint some years ago, Gdid an inspection and noticed the new paint job was showing signs of wear and tear and the prev colour showing through so contacted Dulux tech dept and he was fantastic, I finally found the orig painter and rang him BUT have not heard back after 2 more messages SO onto Dulux and he has passed my complaint onto the state rep whom rang yesterday and asked for pics and he will contact us again. Paint still in warranty. :D 2/ So many rip offs on the go these days I contacted a mob re a shipping container, asked all the Q's made a lower offer and a much smaller dep (they wanted 50%, I said 10%) plus a written agreement and all agreed to. Waiting for him to email agreement .Hope I have done the right thing  BOB back tonight :D I have been trying to get some activated charcoal and some moss for a friend as she is going to make a terrarium thingy, bunnings = O so will have to try a nursery tomorrow. You got a good deal with your plumber man Deborah now get back into that girlie shed. Shirley as long as you enjoy those bowls games just wrap up a bit more, are you allowed to wear gumboots or galoshes? Cuppa time and get to bed ready for the BOB and to be able to get up early for drive to city.. Stay safe and goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Nini x :D
