Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Last night I went to sleep in the chair about 10ks from the finish line of the BOB. Tonight I am ringing my NZ M8 so that takes care of the next few hrs   I reckon I could go and have a shower and when I came back she would still be talking and would have no clue I had been gone
Lawn mowed but more like weed mow, G has sprayed with weed n feed plus for bin di eye (sp) just can't get on top if it any suggestions? The orig grass was Santa anna . I planted 3 sugar snap pea seedlings, shriveled up and dies, the other 2 have supplied 1 pea each. Silver beet I planted for the birds, it has gone crazy and birds won't touch it. Grow your own vegs they said it will be good. To those that told me that '' Get stuffed" So now I am going to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Peter aka 2ft6 x :D

Dottie,
We planted about 20 pumpkin seeds last year.
Vines grew to cover about 30 x 20 ft.
Not a single pumpkin… until too late in the season for the two (!) baby ones to mature.
They went to chook food for a neighbour.
Our three tomato plants provided a feast for the fruit flies.
Our silver beet is bird food. Didn’t intend it to be, though. ☹️
At least the birds leave us the herbs… 🙄😀
Regards & God bless,
Ray

And there was me thinking that all our forum friends are good gardeners and can grow stuff. I'm glad I found out that most are crap at growing veggies, just like I am.
But I do have some potatoes growing in my compost bin. Does that count?
Cheers

Lots and lots of horse poo mixed into the soil before even considering planting does wonders.

Good evening All. I arrived home this afternoon after spending half a day and the night with my son in Wollongong. prior to leaving Rutherglen and Ray and Joy I felt some pain at the back of my neck which seemed like a wasp bite or similar. After spending the night at Holbrook, I headed north and the pain increased such that i had to stop at Gunning to get some pain Killers. When I reached Wollongong I couldn't turn my head R or L without pain. I am starting to wonde if it is tied to the tailbone injury or just old age.

George, if I was you, I would be getting to a GP or physio at your earliest convenience. You may recall that quite a few suggested that you should seek medical attention when you cracked your tail bone. I hope you can get it sorted out soon. :D
Cheers

The first part to surviving old age is admitting you're aging and you can't do things you could do before.
.... Pity doing the dishes doesn't fall into this category. :(
