Been busy resting, was a great day yesterday so enjoyed getting some VitD. Got the pressure cleaner going and gave the bird cage a good clean. No more eggs for a few days so hopefully Norman may of worn himself out Off to the city tomorrow to see the Rheumatologist for check up. That steroid jab into my ankle has worn off, not having any more of them either. Got a real laugh today, my friend that works in the city morgue was telling me about a guy that had something unidentified in his gut and that led to them having to take a look.. Turned out to be a wayward salami roll. I wonder if it will be buried or crisped with him? Brian has not been outside since this morning so he is going to use his loo if he needs to P. He doesn't like to use the cat litter, fussy bugger. How are you doing Deborah? you have also been very quiet. George I hope you do get your bum and nose seen to. Robert n Bob is home after his week or so away time to get back to work. Had a chat to HTFFBO today she is as usual Watching the show Autopsy and they are doing Richard Pryor, another junky with too much $$. The world is bloody crazy, men saying they are women but keep their tackle as they like sex with women, they look so bloody stupid. I had my nanna nap this arvo now I have started on a new pill Melobic to try, kinder than the other one that was mentioned, see how i go on it for 8 weeks, one thing it may or may not do is play hell with immune system which I can't afford to happen . This blasted covid has knocked us both for six. We have so little energy and feel like crap. I have left the computer turned off for a few days/nights, just no energy at all.

Yesterday I finally had a text message to say the lounge that we ordered in February is to be delivered today. Expect a text when they are close to destination. I got a bit excited then. I took a couple of pics and tried to put the old lounge up on the local buy and sell page, expecting it to take a day to get published. The ad thing asked about putting it on marketplace in our wider area. I oked that and thought no more about it. A few minutes later, the phone pinged with a guy wanting to buy the lounge asap. Marketplace seemed to really be the works for this one. Our local pages have had many lounges on offer for free, strangely, they have all looked very similar and most of them have ended up in council collection. Our daughter had wised us up with the idea that if you put a price on things there is a better chance of people coming, so I put a huge $20 price on the lounge, which is twenty years old.

Today, the man for the old lounge arrived at exactly the same time as the delivery truck. It was bedlam here for a while. The old lounge has left the building and the new one is in place. Still waiting for the text to announce the delivery tho. hahaha The local playgroup will take the empty boxes for next week's craft and it's all sorted.

Hi Dot, my blood pressure is around 130/85. I spent the day 7:30am to 4:30pm yesterday at hospital, waited 2.5 hours for a CT scan and another 2.5 for the results which showed nothing out of the ordinary. Was told to go home and take 2 Panadol 4 times daily. I didn't get to have anything done re nose bleeds. I will try this morning to get an appointment with GP.

George, have you been using eye drops? Bruce has had his nose cauterised chemically a couple of times & burnt several times over the last couple of years, since he has been putting several eye drops in his eye each day for the cataract removal & lenses implant, he has started having nose bleeds again, fortunately not haemorrhages.
Guess it's good nothing showed on CT scan, must be muscle damage in the area ?

How is Julie enjoying her new work location ?

Deborah, Covid seems to affect everyone differently, some folk only seem to have a cough & flu like symptoms, over it in a couple of days, others are really unwell, extremely tired & it hangs on longer, age doesn't come into either, some younger folk end up really unwell with it, except all the elderly folk that have died in nursing homes. Hope you both are soon feeling reenergised & well again.

Good idea Shirely. George, maybe you can get some haemorrhage cream from the chemist. Shrink those veins.

What to "happy people" call hemorrhoids? ? A/ Judder bars. Is that the cream you meant Jd? George they use Opium packs up the nose to stop bleeding, give it a go Deborah hope you are feeling better now, it must of really knocked you about. Is your new couch comfortable? This getting up early for 3 days in a row has really stuffed me. When the man was putting the new awning on the bus I had to have a lay down, he was finished within an hr so we did a detour and found a nice spot to have a cuppa, walked around and found a handbag and a purse in the area off the road, Nothing in either and they had been there for quite a while but after that little girl in the suitcase and all the missing people, it gets the imagination going.
