In the late evening edition, still stinking hot but humid as well, it was time to take on the bolts that hold the top fibreglass piece to the bottom piece ..... not sure if it was a smart idea spraying them all with penetrating spray, they might have all snapped off rather than just half of them with the remained fighting the whole way .....

Still 4 to go on the right hand side .... not the best angle being left handed, the upper arms are well chewed by the fibreglass edges ..... fortunately, the remaining light beat me and I've retired for the day to a nice cold beer and the air con doing it's best to reduce the water content in the air and cool things down a bit ;) 8-)

Bernie, is that a genuine Tilta trailer something else? If it's a yes, then they've changed the design a bit since ours came off the line.

Terry, good luck with the water pump. I hope you can get the waterpump done and dusted and the Winnie back on the road soon. The other options aren't much chop.
Cheers

That's probably why your A frame looks different to mine then. :D

Morning all,

You could fit a long jockey wheel and turn it into a tilta.... ideas, ideas and then some.

Rain and wind has interrupted play for the moment .... hopefully it will move on in a few hrs. The indicators, sidelights and headlights are out and all but 1 bolt ..... the hardest to get to of course .... and it will snap, just as soon as I can get both arms in there to hold the spanner on the bolt head and push the socket and ratchet up from underneath and apply enough pressure to hold the socket on the nut while trying to pull the ratchet handle ..... No, the socket and ratchet won't go on this last bolt from the top down :x
As you might have guessed, I'm in no rush to go back out there at the moment
