Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Happy city travels Dot. xxxx

We have had some very busy days with many happy hours lasting quite late into the night. One of our members has an outdoor gas heater, that made for much happier hours. We have not seen quite a lot of the group for twelve months, so this was a huge catch up.

I have not been so cold as I am feeling lately. The wind chill factor has been horrible. Don't know how you could hold those balls Shirley, and to have a great result as well. Congratulations.

Had no issues coming home late yesterday, caravan went into it's space on the first time, so it was really a monumental day.

Today we had a specialist appointment in Gosford, no dramas there. Change a couple of pills, do more blood tests in a couple of months and all is well-ish. After the doc, we headed South to NW Sydney to collect the new gas heater. We we had measured the car and were sure it would easily fit. We didn't factor that the package is screwed onto a small pallet. So the whole lot fitted, only just and it is still in the boot of his patrol. The plumber will have to help him get it out tomorrow, not me. I am so looking forward to being thawed out.

nighty night xxx

I know what you mean with the size of packaging Deborah.
We had to replace our 20yo chest freezer recently. Had to get the use of the SiL and ute to get it home. Luckily it was only a few km's drive for us.
Cheers

"tanks" here---
The Balga temp is only 15c and the sun has gone to Queensland leaving this part of the Western State overcast all day with no sign of the sun. I'm looking forward to a sunny sky on Friday. (perhaps).

53 yrs ago I had a real urge to go to the loo, turns out I was delivering a sprog 1022pm. I finally got out of bed today at 3pm, just could not wake up. G will be staying home to receive the dog that we are doggie sitting for a week or so and I am off to the dental clinic all alone and so there may be a bit of shopping on the way home ha ha . He got caught out with his sneaking cakes , I was taking my cup to put in the dishwasher and he made a beeline to get the cup, I can read him like a book, I said "no it's ok I can do it" then I saw the cake shoved behind some things near the washer, Then this evening he said "are you taking your ph tomorrow?" Yes why? "OH you may get a call from xyz saying the xyz I ordered may be in"  Men really do think us females are so stupid. No comments from the peanut gallery either. No rain today ? maybe tomorrow. Good to hear you got home ok Deborah, relax for a few days then be off again. Brian is not too happy with his doggie friend is coming, he says she annoys him. Children hey! OK off to the shower, Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bob, hope all went well today x :D

Hope your shopping spree is happening then Dot. Tell us what bargains you found. xxxx

Today, it's cold, so we waited for the fancy plumber to come and install the new gas heater. Did a few cleaning around the house things while we waited and waited etc. Obviously, he didn't show. I sent him a text at 6pm, but back to his usual form and it's been unanswered. This is a fancy heater and only the gas fitters who have been trained by archer can install it. Our regular plumber will not touch it so we are at this guys mercy.
To say that we are both pissed off, is an understatement.

Good day all around, me into city, barely any traffic at all, thought we may be in lockdown again. Dentist did X/R and said it was my gums shrinking thus exposing nerves so she gave me some mouth rince esp for gum help to use 2-3 times a week between the Oral 7 that I use and to get the softest head for the Oral b brush. Then she did a nice gentle clean of the fangs. On my way home I dropped into an op shop we know well and I got 2 brand new jumpers for $6 so happy with that. Rosy the dog has settled in as normal and Brian has chased her a few times  . ! more fruit tree to prune but the nasty weather may get here before that gets done.. Washing all done and put away (thanks to G man) Nothing else done so now it is time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Wayno x :D

Good day for fang farriers Dot xxxx

We had a slow grocery shop planned for today and nothing else planned. A phone call from the dentists changed that. We had parked at the grocery shop when she rang with a cancellation , so would we come in today instead of July? Is the Pope Catholic? Groceries all put away in record time and out the door for the fang farriers. She did a filling for each of us as well as the checkups that we had booked in for. The icing on the cake is that she decided to only charge us for health fund for most of the things she did. It is an expensive practice, usually, this time we left there with a bill for $250. Not complaining.

Plumber/gasfitter? hhmmm

night all xxx

Well done Deborah, if you have a good dentist then keep them. I pay for nothing from the Cancer Dental Hospital = :) I would like to see the private funds pick up the gap though, only one specialist I asked for a bulk bill said No so I guess I have been lucky. Washed the sheets today an d hung them out under the verandah where the wind whistles through and now they are on the clothes horse in front of the fire. :D Still really windy outside and rain here and there. Bulbs starting to flower and also got the rest of the pruning done. Apple pie and cream for pudding so I am signing off for tonight. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D
