Is Brian enjoying his holiday Dot? H lordship already has much of those jobs Dot. He still does the washing and sweeps out the van when it's needed. He even washed the dust off the beast today, before I could get a pic to prove that we have been on dirt roads this week. xxxx
Thanks for reminding us of why we are not home Shirley. It was thirty degrees here today. definitely a reason to keep up here.
Hope you are able to stay online Keith, it's so good to see you here mate.
We did nothing at all today. A bit of reading and catching up on the next weekend fair. I keep checking the details as every email that they send, is different. Nothing too serious, but I am looking forward to being back in Rocky. It's been three years since we have been able to get to this, so fingers are crossed that it does happen.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, hope you have found a nice gravel pit for the night. xxxx
One of the traders who we worked with at The Ridge is nicknamed road gravel: much of the stuff that he sells in mixed bags of rocks is no better than gravel, even to my untrained eye, I spotted that the rocks were a pack of sh***.
Today we had a bit of a touristy drive around the area. Like all mining communities, there is so much old machinery left beside the roads, unloved and rusting. One would think that a metal recycler would have a field day here. Was nice to see where some of the traders this last weekend have their proper businesses.
Tomorrow, we will start towards Rockhampton, will probably stay behind the pub at Duaringa, time will tell. We had a person warn us that the pub is not as good as it had been, but really it isn't a great exciting place to stop, just a one night stopover.

Deborah we are locked in a CP, the turn over is daily. now we have tents to the right, a wizz bang to the left 2 A frames next door etc. We went to stansbury for a look about, when we got there I said to G man "we have been here before" yrs ago we met up with Ray and Joy. Nothing to see apart from a beautiful calm sea. Had a cuppa and cake in the only cafe. Looked at the menu list and Fish n chups was $17. I passed on that. Add washing and ironing to the old fellas jobs Deborah
When we got back from our little jaunt we had to get to the motor via the bedroom floor to tighten up the exhaust manifold bolts that couldn't be reached from the front end. Noticed a different noise when I applied the exhaust brake on a few steep hills. Lesson learnt from a while ago when our T1 explained how and where to fix the problem.
Only have to show / tell us once. Need a hand Jon?
Hope you flog off the 5 er soon Peter, what about advertise as a swap? Hope all the sickies are getting better. Good night everyone x
Goodnight Bobr x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Off to bed now, Took Brian for a drag/walk around the footy oval earlier, he didn't like those humans running behind us so we turned for home and he literally ran back to the bus.
Might go to the bowls club for tea tomorrow night .Q/ has anyone heard of a plug (external jack) that you have on your van that you plug into? We can only get ch 9 on the ordinary antenna but can get the lot on the sat thing. Park is full again tonight. Hope your sales go wild Deborah. David where are you now? jd whats the diagnosis on the bus? Bobr are you un packed a bit? Take it easy though, Bruce are you behaving yourself food wise? What chocolates are diabetics allowed to eat? Have a friend just diagnosed as type 1 diabetic.?? Um hate to say it but I won the bet of the womens footy match.
Goodnight everyone x

Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Yes, outlet 'jacks' are cheap & common.Dot wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2023 10:52 pm Q/ has anyone heard of a plug (external jack) that you have on your van that you plug into? We can only get ch 9 on the ordinary antenna but can get the lot on the sat thing.

You'll need a splitter to put in the line if you have an outlet inside & another outside. If you already have 2 outlets (bedroom?) then you will already have a splitter. You'll need 2 of them or if the existing one is in an ideal place .... replace it with one with more outlets. You can get them with any number of outlets.

Yes I'm eating only food that is safe. One or two pieces of the dark chocolate will in fact help a bit. NO MORE than two!
Very doubtful your friend has type 1. Type 2, but Insulin dependent is NOT type 1. In reality there is no difference. Both are running completely on insulin. What insulin are they taking?
