Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Well another day at the AJ abode, plumber there getting the plans for his price, sparky has been busy with the cutting int the brickwork and putting wires down with a few more rooms to do, the stone mason has also been busy. AJ's car has suffered a problem, it lost power and took ages for it to get back up to speed so we have given her our Kia and will take her car to the local mechanic to see what is wrong. .Gave T1 a call but he is on his way back from buying his new motorhome from NSW. We shall have to wait for the full run down and pics though. Well done and now Margaret and T1 and the furbabies can finally hit the road. well  Might do a few days RnR at the block next week after seeing the neck man. Pretty tired out so off to bed Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight RnB x :D

Takea day off and everyone disappears. Had a day off as really tired. Been a couple of weird days, AJ just made it up here Saturday as her car shat itself so as I said before we gave her our car to make sure she got home. Turned out she fell in love with our car and she wanted to buy it  OK do your homework, she did and so did Gman, turns out the car is worth more than we paid for it so you would have to be a fool not to sell it. She rang tonight to fill us in on house progress and once again she asked to buy the car, told her what the dealer had said and she had also found out the same into, told her to make an offer and she did and I accepted. Now have to find a car without so many weird things we don't need. Might look at MG's or a car that has the self backing feature ;) .I was supposed to see the neck man today but turned out the other lttle cars battery was flat as so canceled the appointment and see him next week  See the sick ship has docked in Adelaide and the passengers just got off and inter mingled back into the city?? I'm back to masks anywhere out side of the house. Lots of garden work got done today and more tomorrow in between 2 sets of visitors. Thats it for now Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Swisslulu x :D

Dot, the masks sound like the only way to go, now that your gov has let the virus run rampaging in the community. No commonsense that mob. Glad that you like my Christmas trees. Hope you can get the throat thing sorted soon, just being able to really enjoy food, would be so nice for you xxxx

Ray, thanks for the vote of confidence. The trees are really only about six inches above the stands. Because of the fancy light stands, I have to charge $75 for them, but will be interesting to see how they go. Since making the prototypes, I will probably make them taller next year, but as it's the stands that have been my biggest expense, I will probably not increase the price. I am not really wanting to send these fragile things in the mail.

Our full family get together was great. Because I had very little warning, I didn't get stressed about it and we were all relaxed. The last of the leftover food made up our dinner tonight, so it helped with some of this weeks catering as well.

Today I did all the business stuff that needed to be checked, booked us into Bathurst showgrounds for a few extra days around the event and packed up any of the glass stuff that needed to go with the business. Tomorrow will be packing the clothes, my jewellery and food into the van so that we can have a fairly early start on Wednesday. We have to call into the mechanic on the way to get the van pink slipped for rego and then we will be on our way.

night all xxx

Hope you get some decent rain soon Dot. We have had a couple of good showers, but the mango tree is needing a lot more than that. It gets a deep soaking twice per week once the fruit appear. They are looking like good fruit, so far. Enjoy the car shopping. xxxx

Van is all packed with cold foods and all the other things, so hoping to get out of here as soon as we eat breakfast. The mechanic will give us the pink slip tomorrow (that's just a roadworthy certificate so the we can register it again for the year) and then we will be off to the Central West.

sweet dreams xxx

I am not going to tell you what time I woke up today. But I am fed up with no energy and have had my 3rd Vit meds. G did more tree trimming and I found a new black birds nest with mumma sitting quietly so that tree will have to wait. We need some good rain for the ground to be wet through. Looks like a crappy year for fruit production, cherry tree has been sprayed and the would of been fruit turned brownish and have fallen off. Did the right thing last year pruned, chicken and pig poo plus pea straw mulch but not this year. Must be doing something wrong and ? time to give up on fruit trees?. Deborah, looking forward to seeing the bigger Xmas trees. Shirley what is happening with the bowls? Time for apple pie and cream now then shower and bed so Goodnight every one x :D Goodnight Terry aka T1 get motoring x :D

Dot, you're a slave driver.   I will probably get to design the bigger/better trees after Christmas. Not going to start building anything glass for a while...need to make a ton of money to pay for the next lot of glass . I am making a fiendish plan to recycle any trees that don't sell this weekend, just for fun.... They may be getting a run through my workshop blender to make frit and use that on the bigger models. Hope you find some energy under a vitamin pill Dot. xxxx

Had a long but safe trip to Bathurst. The mechanic did our pink slip no dramas. He only charged me $20 and then gave me a large box of Roses choccies for Christmas. Can't complain about that. Will get onto bank and pay the $345 for the rego one day soon. Our only whinge is that there are no really easily accessible rest areas on this trip. We finally found one and made a quick sanger for lunch and had a break. Usually we will find a pub and have lunch on the run, but there are none easy to drag the van off the road, so we just plan to feed ourselves for this trip.

Showgrounds is looking good and we are going to have a rest day tomorrow, before starting set up on Friday.

nighty night xxx

"tanks" here-- -
A great good morning to all of the Forum peoples and their animal friends.
It has started out as a cold day (17.3c) inside without the r/c aircon running.
I'm tying to toughen up (just a bit) now that I am a Country Gentleman.
That statement makes me reflect on a night some 40 years ago; This new member of Lodge was introduced to me and asked me "how do address you"? I told him that my Friends call me Keith; whereas Others call me Sir.
Ever since that night he has called me Sir Keith; not being sure if he is a friend or one of the Others.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

I'll hazard a guess Keith, that you have been called far worse things than Sir.
