Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Happy safe travels Dot. The blob didn't work the way I wanted , so will get another smash up when we return home. I realised that there was not enough glass on the back of the mold, so the drips at the back were very thin, Not hard to fix, just takes time. xxxx

David, you are so right about the eejits in little cars. Seems like they all have small dog syndrome.

Did a bit of op shopping, then went to order the BBQ chookens for Christmas day. The shop is not there. We spent a long time trying to find somewhere to order a couple of chooks and gave up. Went back to ww and bought a couple of fresh chookens with use by dates of next Wednesday, and a few small things. Then had to find the makings for stuffing. Looks like I will be cooking chooks in the electric frying pan on Christmas Eve. Not quite the laid back plans, but it will work. I swiped his ww card at the checkouts and managed another $40 bonus. I only paid a tenner today...yes!

I had some left over cream cheese from making sandwiches last week. That was turned into a cheese cake today. After lots of improvising, the cheese cake was made. Dinner was an event, toasted sangas followed by cheese cake. That's a two course meal in the van, doesn't happen here often.

I had a treatment from AJ at 11am today and after that she came around home for a shower and to see where the bird baths are and where all the plants are to be found to be watered. She was Peed off as the plumber putting 3 screws into the wall for the curtain rail actually caused a huge hole on the other side of the wall but what made her angry was that nothing was said and her hand basin has also been put on the wall crooked, she is not pleased . After the floors were all mopped and washing back in and plants all watered, birds sorted and general fluffing around we hit the road. got to out Bordertown stop at 6pm, beautiful cool breeze and only saw 1 cop car. No real twats seen as yet but tomorrow is another day. Deborah I think you meant "little man's syndrome" poor dogs always getting picked on. Heading towards Ararat tomorrow, so taking it slowly. Take things easy everyone. Goodnight everyone x Tanks x :D

Happy travels Dot. Twats are everywhere along with eejits xxxx

Had a quiet, sunny day here. Washing dried in the sun, that was good. Not a lot of anything else happening . Expect to be inundated by family tomorrow.

It's been a hot humid horrid day up here. No sign of council clearing fallen trees off roads or walkways. Saw one Energex crew today, clearing overheads. But the electrical guys must be out and about because power is being restored along the main roads and hubs. I think the community spirit is wonderful around here. There are blokes with chainsaws clearing away fallen trees and making a way through. Our local shop was giving away ice and bread to anyone that needed some. Another thunderstorm about to roll in, but it won't be anywhere near as damaging as the other night.
One of the old C..A gobs would be having a fit if he was here , every 3rd house or so has a genset running. I went to the chainsaw shop today for some bits, they had sold 20 x 2kw Honda's this morning and at least 15 sold on their afternoon delivery.
Cheers

Well our time down here in india /vietnam aka Melton is coming to a close this Sunday and how glad are we. What a rude place this is. Had a real gut full of my bitching know it all BIL a wonder he is still breathing. Has been good to see my sister after 8 or so years but between the 4 continually yapping schnauzers and the bil time to go.. Hope everyone had a safe and healthy Xmas and didn't scoff themselves rotten. New year coming up soon and we will be well away from the city morons and the fire crackers parked up in a nice secluded gravel pit. Goodnight everyone x  Goodnight Ray x :D

Ok Dot. definitely time to find a way out of town in a distant gravel pit. Hope you find just the right spot xxxx

Boxing day and the next, we had hail storms each afternoon. Some of the hail was golf ball sized, but looks like the car/truck is unmarked (lucky).

We finally came home yesterday. It was so flamin hot and humid that we took a long time to empty the van and put it away. This is usually a very quiet area, but all the flaming rentals are full of noisy families. It is lovely to hear the kids jumping in the lake etc, just a shame that the parents don't seem to know how, or care, to parent the brats. Our tenant has paid the next month's rent, so I am guessing that she is happy to stay here. We half expected he to ask to be let her out of the lease, when her Dad passed away last week. We are happy that has not happened as she is a lovely lady and a good neighbour is pretty important here as well.

I just found another email from the solar mob. They keep asking for documents that never existed and my installer is of course, on holidays. I am truly just fed up. Each storm that we have, I keep praying for no blackouts, because with no battery backup, we are just a poorly off as when we had no solar at all.

Sorry for that whinge.

Nighty night xxx
