Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Glad you can see still, imagine what might come out of the kiln if you had to do brail try it. Off to the city this arvo for appointment with rheumatologist. Like last time I saw him 2 yrs ago he could not say either way if my foot woes were due to the diagnosis of Psoriasis arthritis as there is no specific tests but as I have had an outbreak of the psoriasis on my head and that is usually bought on by stress which stirs things up. Put it down to the Brian issue. Anyway there was a choice of 2 drugs that are ok for trials, he gave me info on them and if I want to give it a go all I have to do is give him a call etc etc. Stopped in to Aldi on the way home, it was nice and quiet = no kids. Hope all the people in Vic are staying safe from those fires and another stinker tomorrow so stay inside with your pets and air con on. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Pet-els x

Might be a while before any of the "safe" battery chemistries trickle down to household storage batteries that the "Clean Energy Council" endorse ...... If the "Clean Energy Council" doesn't endorse it, members of the "Clean Energy Council" can't/won't install them because they can't get the rebates .... and you have to a member of the "Clean Energy Council" to install anything to eligible for a govt rebate. Without the rebate, storage batteries are expensive ....
Needless to say, it isn't cheap to get that endorsement, battery manufacturers can't keep up with the demand for the "safe" chemistry batteries for EV manufacturers, so house batteries have become the "dumping ground" for the excess of the ternary chemistry batteries ... basically, any lithium compound that contains cobalt in the mix (there are a lot of them, just look for a "C" in the chemical name) https://www.winackbattery.com/news/adva ... plications.
and https://www.evlithium.com/Blog/lifepo4- ... ttery.html give you a bit more info, but mainly relate to electric vehicle batteries, but it does trickle down to all storage batteries.

Goodnight Dot,
I went to the Dr. Yesterday for results of my Bone Scan Density test. She said that I had Ostoporosis, I said all 87 year olds would have that. She wants me to have something done at the Dental clinic before having some sort of injections, I’ll do the tests but not the injections.
She also did an ECG in her office and said there is something wrong with your heart, I told her nothing wrong there. She then sent me to the local hospital for an ECG, so I did and they confirmed nothing wrong. So when I go back Friday week (to get some stitches out after a couple of BCC,s cut out) I’ll let her know to dump her old machine.

She'll probably tell you she was correct in her diagnosis, you are heartless for criticising her findings, she just wanted to see you again

Yes Dot do a google for Australian recipes, pear and apple pie comes to mind or stewd pears for breakfast and desert.
Went for the old top and bottom camera inspection today and only minor problems. While under he streched the throad to help stop food getting caught and having coughing fits. They give my back hell every time I have one.
With all the advances in modern medice you would rhink they could produce a decent tasting liquid to clean the old bottom out not the dam crap.
O well over for another two years cheers and goodnight folks Robert
Dot, I hope the pear stewing is going well. They freeze great once cooked up too. xxxx
Thanks for the battery advice, Terry. I am not sure what we will be doing yet. I haven't heard from my installer, to listen to his advice.
Robert, if they want to clean your sh** out, the medicine will taste like it too....experience is not a good one. Hope your results are useful.
Today was so hot that I had to spend time in the airconditioned shed. I have been asked/nagged to make some round earrings. That involves a lot of tiny squares being cut out of coloured and clear glass. They get fired at such a high temp, that they all curl up and form circular shapes. I literally cut a few hundred squares of less than a centimetre in size. The clear ones get positioned over the coloured ones and it becomes a balancing act to get them just right.
RnB, you are correct about the taste of that stuff. But, it does give us all something to talk about. You only know how bad it tastes if you have had to drink it.
I have to see the nutritionist later today, as I still have an inflamed diverticula, so the doc says. Probably caused by drinking low end red wine, I would guess. I saw the cardiologist yesty for the results of my recent stress test. His main comment was that it was unremarkable, that made me feel better. I walked out of there feeling like a happy little Vegemite.
Now all I need to do is get rid of the heartburn so I can go back to sleep.
Cheers

Try Somac or the Chemists own variety. Start with 20mg each morning and see if that sorts the heartburn and the inflamed diverticula, it works well for me, so worth a try ....

I reckon the easiest way for me to get rid of the heartburn is to stop drinking crappy red wine. Sometimes I win that battle, other times the little devil on my shoulder gets his way. I've found that no grog = good nights sleep. But it's not that simple
