Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
OK now that is done. Today saw the specialist, he is happy with G;s wounds, replaced the dressings. I asked him did he get reports? NO. I then asked what he thought of G having blood in his wee, "I don't believe it was blood" me.. "Well it wasn't orange juice /that about his temp of 39? A/ It may of been a reaction to the anesthetic drugs. me "WTF I worked with a professor of Anesthetics for many years and never heard of such a thing". Q/What about his high BP? "A/ High BP is usually a sign of pain but he didn't have pain did he? me/ NO his body was in shock from INFECTION. He then said in all his years he has never had an infection from doing that op via keyhole. Me. Well I think this might be your first. He then suggested G see a urologist about the blood in the urine!!!!! He was itching to get us out the door. This will not be ending here. I will be ringing the anesthetist. Then I rang the pathology people AGAIN 3rd time, The non understandable Indian person I spoke to said the results have not been sent because they did not have the fax # of the GP. Once again WTF they don't have fax machines these days because too many results were going to other people. Last week I was told the results had been sent and she would send them again... SO tomorrow I will be ringing the head person of SA pathology to get some answers. No wonder people are dying from medical misadventures, Drs stick together like shite to a blanket and they bury their mistakes. I am tired and cranky so I am saying goodnight everyone x
Goodnight VikA x

I am taking note of the member's posts re changing my Will, and appointing or changing the Executor through the Public Trxxx.
I will not be engaging the Public Truxxx to handle my estate.
Thanks for taking the time to offer advice and remarks for me to consider.
Keith.

Dot, keep those bastards honest mate. Somehow, they don't realise that you have enough experience to call their rubbish for the rubbish that it is.xxxx
Tanks, thanks for the lovely pics of glass earrings that Dot sent to me. It's so kind of you to think of me.xxx I will try to show you my earrings that I sell for $30 per pair. They are usually my best sellers. I make a lot of dangly earrings as well as studs (not all, but some are like the ones in your pic).
We managed to get up fairly early, so we were able to be on the road to the back of Sydney after breakfast. After driving through the back of the burbs we made it to Vineyard easily before lunch. Did a quick set up and went off to the pub for lunch. That was a great treat. We both had pizza. He had ham and pineapple (not my idea of edible) so I had prawn and pancetta. That was delicious. There was soo much food that we had to ask for takeaway boxes. We are still so full of food, that we had a yoghurt each for dinner. Left overs probably for dinner tomorrow.
Tomorrow is origami day. We have to set up the stall in a very tiny space, so much fiddling will happen to make the best display. It is usually quite a difficult time, but it does make the rest of the weekend a fail or success story.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Tried that way Terry = NO but it took G's ph #. I had success with SA Pathology and the GP now have G;s results. I rang and asked the non speaking English Indian man to speak to his supervisor, told him I would hold on for her to get his email and till she rang back. The GP receptionist rang me to say she had also rang SAP and the supervisor told her the results had just been sent WOO Hoo pays to hit the top person. Then I sent an email off to the Private Hosp complaints dept to get all the notes concerning G's stay and that includes his theatre notes. The public FOI is different to the Private hosp so this mob are the ones to use HCSCC. Next it the FOI officer at the Mt Barker hosp A&E dept for all their notes. Now the real estate issue. G spoke to the agent, he said that the boss sets the % and rules so he is rather restricted. We will be contacting AJ's friend (owns his agency) to give us a Quote and probably the local agent then decide. NO friends in business. Off to the city tomorrow to get the results from G's last lot of tests (for that coughing thing) but all will be ok. feel it in my wee. Cat trap reset. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, you are not giving up on this creep of a specialist....well done. Wonder how far he would back pedal if you suggested a law suit? Crazy world, but I do think docs are so frightened of legal issues that they just cannot afford to acknowledge mistakes, even when they really stuff up. xxxx
Had a busy day setting up shop. I seemed to drag on for a lot longer than usual and it was late when we returned to the van, via Aldi. It's the closest grocery, so easy to get there. All we needed was a loaf of fresh bread. Yes, it's actually fresh, not prefrozen. Has to be some compensation for being this close to the big smoke. We even bought a couple of packs of icecreams that would fit into the tiny freezer (once broken out of their boxes).
Tonight we ate the leftover pizzas and finished off with an icecream each. Such luxury.
Have an early start tomorrow, so night all xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
BruceS is a naughty boy. I have applied for the FOI forms for the A&E dept and also the Private hosp so we wait now, they have to respond within 30 days. Drs stick together like poop to a blanket and will back each other so you have to either get some inside info on which other Dr will say what they think OR go out of state. Even the pathology place has info as all their calls are recorded.
Interesting thing is the lady Dr wanted to do a CT and she rang the specialist to confirm and he told her there was "no need"? Anyway time to start a bit of a tidy up. Flo is staying for a night or 2 and she is out having a birthday outing with her friends and we are Rosy dog sitting. Brian is asleep on the couch. Got a new gas bottle today for the bus $35. Genny, diesel heater, toilet, air con, and fridge/freezers all tested. Putting food in the freezers tomorrow, Would you believe we won another $100 voucher from the hospital lottery, that makes 2 of them, a cinema voucher $100, a doz bottles of wine, an extreme adventure ticket and also a ticket to the Adelaide festival, everything but the posh cars or the house and $ but am happy with what we get, I give them away as gifts and thank you's to others. Good luck Deborah for a profitable sales weekend. AND my Bombers beat the CROWS by 3 points tonight. Woop woop . Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Tanks x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hi there Dot & George,
A great game. It was seven years since the opposing team from Adelaide won against the Mightyt Bombers from Victoria.
I almost fell off the chair during the last five minutes of the game. The score was up and down; point for point, and goal for goal. It was so exciting that It had me sitting on the edge of the chair waiting for the next "event".
Keith.
Only 12 degrees here at 6:30 am today.
The forecast for Monday and Tuesday is down to 8 degrees in the nmornings. I guess Winter is here.
