There was a bite of the lip when he said he would step aside for someone else to take over the leadership. I thought he made a very good speech, may have been a bit long, but he thanked the people who gave them the support and stopped it being a major grubbing. He had been a little more settled during the election, made the type of speech he made to night during the run up to the election, he may just have got over the line.
Now to see what Tony does, if he sticks with the “Axe the tax” he will be a lame duck for the next 6 mths, will we be dragged out again for a double disillusion mid next yr?
