Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Got George's Hospital notes from FOI and the Mt Barker hosp today. Have only got through 25 of the 38 pages. Dental clinic Dentist took X/Rays to compare them to last years and she was pleased and see her in 3 months. cost $0. I had Lasagna for tea and now having custard and stewed apples for pudding. Meeting the real estate man at the block next Friday to sign papers for the blocks sale. Had to choose between 2 friends but as they say no friends in business, but I feel guilty all the same. Time for the BOB's so get better everyone and goodnight x :D Goodnight Jd x :D

Dot, once the block is sold, you will have so much time for your main home block, it will be quite a stressfree blessing. Great fang news mate. xxxx

Today was op shop crawl. Only prob is that the biggest op shop that usually has the best stuff, is closed for renos....ggrr. Should have warned them that we were coming! Out of the three shops left, I bought one book. So not a great op shop hunting trip at all. Back to the van for late lunch and visited a few of our mates in vans and had a lovely happy hour. Probably our last sunny day, but it was really lovely.

Still a lot of people to chat with yet, so not bored at all.

night all xxx

Very cold tonight, had to physically take Brian outside but he was back in very soon after. Sardines in the cat trap for past 2 nights and = 0 so far. Lemons soon for you RnB but not many as I pruned it well last year. Hot shower time then bed to watch the BOB's. Have to stay up till midnight anyway to give Brian his pill. Hoya people, Is it ok to put them under the pergola (shade cloth) for the winter months or should they go inside? but there will be no one to water them if inside. Under the pergola they will get some moisture. Hope everyone, sick, sore, or healthy are doing well. What does Nigel say about rain for this area please? Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight NP x :D

I am agreeing with Brian, it's too cold to be outside...poor thing. Hoya should be happier in the green house, or under a very shady tree Dot, they don't like frost xxxx

We woke to a freezing wet n windy day. We all spent the afternoon in the camp kitchen having a lovely time...even better, the tv has been taken out so the footy people had to watch it outside on their phones. We could talk with out yelling over the TV.

Last time that we came out with this mob, one of our friends had to driven away in an ambulance with suspected heart attack. She had stents put in and has been on the mend since. They came with their van for this weekend and we have all given her hugs to welcome her back. Last night, the ambulance returned for her. She was sure the heart was attacking again, but no, it is covid. Obviously, we will all be checking at the first sign of any problems.

Two of our group have sold their home and are now living in their vans. One couple has put a deposit on a house and they are waiting for it to be completed. The other couple have sold their house and are now hunting for a smaller house with no maintenance issues. They are happily hunting for places to stay close by, so it's been an interesting weekend with friends going through some different things.

We went out for dinner tonight with a lovely couple and their kids. They drove to meet us at the pub and we had a delicious Chinese meal. They are members of this group but not here this weekend, due to the kids sports events. We are sort of adopted grandparents, so it was really great to see the kids and parents again.

Excitement with your mates Deborah. I shall put the hoyas right under the pergola if we do get to go north for a good deal of the winter. G lit the fire tonight, dam cold outside. Off to the city tomorrow to see throat man. Watching the BOB's starting the biggest climb in the race ( Passo Del Mortirolo). Beautiful countryside. Looking at those steep winding roads how do those towns get their food and stuff? no arrestor beds there for trucks/ semi's. My Bombers did themselves proud again today beat the roos (Nth Melb) Off to bed now, take care everyone x Goodnight NC George hope your eye puffs have settled down.x :D

Hope the BOBs keep you entertained Dot. xxxx

Woke up to see the sun shining but the wind with icicles has erupted. About half of our group have gone home, having to go to work. That left enough of us to still have some very pleasant times in the camp kitchen. More interesting people to chat with, so a good time was had by all.

I put out my jewellery today and sold enough to pay for our weekend, so not unhappy about that. A lady parked opposite wandered over to see what was happening and she bought a pair of earrings too. That was a positive thing. We started to chat and she lives close by us at the lake, has a jayco and been looking for a similar group. That was a good chat too.

Nothing else to share so nighty night xxx

Have you finished reading Mr G's horspital notes, yet, Dot? Good news from the throat person xxxx

Had a quiet day again. As it's so flaming cold we stayed indoors for the morning and then ventured up to the camp kitchen for a good enjoyable afternoon. We ate so many nibbly things that a toasted crumpet was enough for dinner.

sweet dreams xxx

Are the BOB's still bobbing Dot? Hope all is well down there xxxx

Had a cold slow day. Took a reccy trip to the hammer shop. Looking for ideas for tables to travel to our next gig, where we have to provide our own.
After the hammer shop, we headed off for our fav Chinese restaurant, which is an all you can eat. We enjoyed our lunch and then returned for happy times. The park put on a sausage sizzle for dinner, so that helped the chef out no end. No need for further food.

A quick pack up in the morning and heading for home.

night all xxx

You are early tonight Deborah, too much food hey? Wish we had a good chinese shop. I went to sleep last night watching the dumb tv with nothing on. It was a rest day for the boys yesterday, but the day before it was a fantastic watching the "pog" smash the Kintana (spelling) Tonight they shortened the race because of the nasty weather. Your Jayco boys are not doing too well esp Caleb Ewen, he seems to have lost his mojo. . Going to be a big day tomorrow, heading to catch up with the Swisslulu and the Riverlander for the day so the car will get a good run. We had more rain last night very thankful for that. Also received the Private hosp info I was after, so far nothing exciting but they use all computer lingo, no names to much of anything these days. Off to shower then bed now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight VicA x :D
