Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hey Dot, if you want to revisit the hair colours, I have found woolies has a hair liquid crayon, only available in purple or pink. I put purple stripes on one day and fill in the spaces with pink the next. It lasts until it has been washed out, so plenty of time to fiddle with the different shades of pink n purple. You know I don't do boring. Keep that hoya in a warm place next to a sunny brick wall then, mate. xxxx

David, you are so right about the ignoramous on the radio. Children in their thirties, who never grew up. Thanks for finding the drone controller. I was hunting for it and gave up!

I wlll try to show you how our van and liquid amber tree looked a few weeks ago and yesterday.

His nibs claims he has the flu. He failed the covid test and is looking ok, but I have been spoiling him today, so nothing much to share.

Brian was happy to hear that Miss Evie was still meowing strongly for food, a bit like Gman. He has stopped the squirts but has that cough that makes your lungs scream and his appetite is still the same so not much empathy is given  He didn't come with me to the GP because of the squirts but I couldn't get to the op shop as the hearse was in the driveway of the church where the op shop is. Thought that was not very thoughtful of the dead person  I had the super flu jab as well. Lamb shanks put on this morning at 9am and had tea at 6pm yummo. BOB's have just started again 95ks to go up and down big hills. Might go to bed to watch it. Deborah put a stick of dynamite up your boss's bum no flu just man flu do not give in   How did your bowls o Shirley? Where is NC George's eye pics? Weather looking good for the garden tomorrow so may get to butcher the fruit trees and move the Hoyas under cover. Stay safe and goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Riverlander x :D

Played bowls this arvo 1-4pm, mixed triples, really enjoyed the game & we won 25-21, was a good game, after a great sunny day I did need to put my jacket on for the last few ends. I only marked a Consistency game y’day Dot, it was a close game, semi final next week.

Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams. 💤💤💤💤

Poor G'man, hope he got a tiny bit of empathy from you Dot. ;) Glad Brian is a happy boy xxxx

Shirley, that game late today would have been chilly. Well done, but hope you can keep warm while having fun on the green.

I woke this morning to find His lordship had disappeared down the yard. On closer looking, he was working on my shed door. The new door had been delivered and he was getting ready for our local builder to come and install it. The door people had told the builder they were delivering today, but we were not informed, until it arrived. That was a nice happening. As the previous door had been a piece of 2nd hand rubbish, it was a bit tricky getting the new door in place. They had the job done by late lunch time. Now I can have the kiln firing away at night, with the glass doors open and the screens locked to keep out any feral intruders. I am really pleased with that.

While they were doing my shed, I had the task of getting his dental appointment changed. Not going to be well enough by Tuesday, he says (might even be right). Our dentist has a crap system where you leave a message, she gets back to you, eventually. She finally returned the call at 3pm, so now his dental work has been suitably delayed.

I was also on sentry duty, waiting for the gas fitter to come and try to improve on our gas log fire. He never came, didn't answer my texts and is now in my black book. Lovely man, just impossible to get him out here. I was concerned about him burning his paws, so I kept the heater turned off and only had the air con to warm us up. So not as warm here tonight. The residual heat from several hours of warmth is just not here.

Sweet dreams xxx

Happier now the Bombers won, now 2nd on the ladder and the Pog on the BOB's has done his bit and won the race by points / time. This guy is a freak 87ks to go. Deborah I reckon your old boy was bluffing you or a very quick recovery. I was a bit empathetic to Gman, I supplied him with water, toast lemon tea, paracetamol cough meds throat lozenges'  Hint, if the boys are faking the flu put one of the daytime serials on ie Days of our lives, or the bold and the beautiful, they are miracle recovery workers.  I did a bit of pruning to the fruit trees but I think they may of come to the end of their productivity. Well done Shirley ?Champ later this year? No pain from the flu jab, Our naughty possum has decided it likes the special pumpkin but has only chomped on one, so left that one and put the others in the shed. NC George when do you pick the bus up? G has headed to bed but he may end up back on his chair if the cough starts up again. Is Italy as nice as it looks? 80ks to go so a cuppa is in order for the next he or so. Take care everyone and goodnight x :D Goodnight HTFFBO x :D

Enjoy that last 80k Dot, sounds like a pretty race, oh the scenery that is, not the boys.   No he isn't faking it Dot, I was kept awake by him coughing last night. xxxx

Today his nibs is a little brighter, but then he doesn't have to race down to my shed and help do another installation job today. He did have an arvy nap and seemed a lot brighter after that. He has suggested that he might soon, feel up to replacing the shelves in my shed, that he had to remove for the door installation . That will make my life a lot easier too.

I spent a lot of time in my shed, just trying to put things back where they came from. Was a bit of a horrible job, but it does help me to work better if the bench is clear of crap. I am still trying to get a nicer plate to return to the lady who had the boy scouts break her plate. I now have a similar one in the kiln, starting from scratch. tomorrow will tell if it will work or not. It felt good to be leaving the kiln to fire over night with the glass doors open a tiny bit and the screen doors locked to repel invaders.

night xxx

Well I have to admit I did not awake until 4pm today. I also woke with a cough and extra tired. Tested NEG to Covid. Had a message from my M8 in NZ telling me her heart op is off as they said in operatable as heart muscle is stuffed?? needs further investigation. They have left her too long, there was nothing like that spoken about 12 mths ago... The BOB's was interesting last night, as expected the "Pog" took off like a rocket up hill at about 30ks to go and no one saw his heals until the end. He is a nice young man, a child was running along side of him so the Pog diverted to get a drink bottle then gave it to the kid. :) The finish tonight through Rome. Now await the Tour de France in June. Up early in the morning to get my bloods done. Remember the plate pic Deborah. Might have to put the sprinklers on tomorrow Nigel won't answer my request to know when we may expect rain. Off to the shower now, goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D Hope you are back to ? "normal"

Dot, if your mate's heart muscle is stuffed, how can they even "investigate"? That is no way to treat a person at all. When I am happy with the replacement plate, I will send a pic, eventually. xxxx

Today was more work on said plate and made a mold for it to slump over, put it in to get a bit of a bend up. Tomorrow will tell if my mold was right or not. I also made a heap of tiny earrings to replace the ones that I sold last jayco weekend. They are very tiny and time consuming, but done and ready to fire, now.

His nibs had a better day, with a nap in the sunshine, but wasn't energetic enough to replace my shelves. I know I could do it myself, but not at the risk of offending him.
