Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

G'day everyone. Thanks for the well wishes. 3 weeks in bad and not much memory of it. Still really tired but better than i have been, What a mongrel thing that Covid thing is. Anyway onwards and upwards so they say. At last we have rain and the garden is soaking it up. George is having a bit of a issue with recovering to his normal 100mile go but he is better than me :) his appetite never wavered and mine went MIA. Must get some reading done now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

The persistent cough seems to linger with the Covid, some of the members at bowls have been left with same, it’s our Presentation Day tomorrow, we have morning tea 10am, game of bowls, lunch then presentation, rained all day today & the greens were closed.
Best thing to do is rest for Dot if she’s feeling tired & weak, no good when both partners are unwell.
Our GP isn’t doing the Covid shots anymore, we’ve only had 4, our local chemist does same but we need to book in, he does the singles shot too.
Time for me to go t bed & hopefully sleep.
Goodnight all.💤💤

Pleased that you’re feeling onward & upwards Dot, just take it slowly & you both need to rest.
Shirley & Bruce.

Great to see you back here Dot, Take all the rest you can get and yes, it's a crappy disease. xxxxx

Shirley , enjoy your bowling tomorrow and bring all those trophies home.

Been a freezing day in Penrith, with a lot of people watching from us. The crowds came to the show, but mostly they wanted to hear what the loopy peoples (mystics) were predicting for them. The fashions and hairdoes made the day well worth it. We really had very poor sales, but the weirdoes kept us all amused. There were people wearing top fashion clothes, right down to grunge. One person had on a tiny fake fur jacket, belly button on display, tiny shorts, long boots and fishnet stockings. This all went well with HIS dreadlocks. Thank goodness he didn't bend over near us. We would have seen what he had for breakfast!

The day was just one long parade of strange looking people. With the fancy clothes and hairstyles as well as bodies covered in tatts, I don't believe that they are short of money, just didn't spent it on our stall.

Safe travels out there and stay warm

Hi Dot. Good to hear you are still in the land of the living. Was going to ask someone down that way to check the back pages in the local papers to see if your name was there. We are going OK and havn't had any covid problems. Had quite a good lot of rain at last that has made a few people happy. Thought about going on a short trip but still a few Doc. and dentist apps. and it has been a bit cold.
Cheers John

Presentation day started off a little chilly, 10.30 we went out to have a game of social bowls sun fortunately arrived, we had a very enjoyable games, inside for lunch, speeches & presentations, only won one this year Major Minors, was pleased to receive money instead of a trophy, I all ready have 2 trophies for this event won as a Minor & one as a Major, once you win as a Miner then you have to play as a Major, hopefully I’ll get to play more bowls this year.

I seem to have a cold from spending Friday on Doyalson oval in the miserable cold day with Oliver playing soccer, might of been good for the kids running around apparently last year it 33c but really cold for us watching.

Travel safely everyone.
Good night, sleep well. 💤💤

Dot and G'man, thinking of you and hope you can get the rest that you both need, xxxx

Shirley, congrats on your trophy/not trophy win. Happily take the money any time, definitely a better option than another dust collector.

Another freezing day here and I am sure the people around us had frozen wallets. We tripled yesterday's takings, but not enough profit to buy a raffle ticket. We are looking forward to heading home tomorrow to a warmer house.

night all xxx

John, My name will not be seen in the back pages, will be all gone by the time the ink was set. Hope your Dr's visits all go well and you can head off along with Miss Evie. Q/ What is the grass in your yard? Our grass is a PITA never looks good.
Shirley here's hoping all you have is a cold.

Deborah, sorry your sales were shite, sounds like a place to forget. I must admit I got up about 3pm today but had a few nanna naps in the chair. Off to bed now. Take care everyone.
Stay warm, safe and care on the roads. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight NP x :D
