Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Had another all day in bed day. I got a reply from G Daughter, she said she knew nothing about me, said she had gone to the same boarding school as her dad and is now at uni getting top grades, she has the best mum and dad, and said she wanted to thank me for birthing her dad as he has done well for himself and family. I replied that I wondered why her dad had never mentioned me when she asked about her grandmother (dads mum)? I told her she should ask her father and sees what he has to say because his and my versions will not be the same. I congratulated her on her schooling and career visions, happy she reached out, thanked her and wished her well. Was that good enough ? See what happens. My son never even enquired how I was when I was so sick. Sorry guys but I do not like my son as a human being. Now, G rang the Aged care mob again today and bugger me they said they had no record of me yet we were told another mob would be sending some one out to do an assessment ??? Next to ring will be me to the MP's. Hope you are getting some more sleep Shirley, and the bone repairs are doing well. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

Dot, it sounds like you have made a reasonable first contact.
Probably one of the few good things about farcebook is that it assists in the ability to find people. You may never know why your son is like he is, but you can bet that it because he has accepted someone else's version of the truth from a very early age.

Try Endep, little blue pills that have the opposite affect to the other well known little blue pills. They settle my head down and let me sleep right through the night .... gotta remember to get a refill script next doctor visit, lost the last lot in the fires and I'm running out of books to read on the phone  Think I'm up to book 27 in the long running Bob & Nicki, saucer repairs, I think it only goes up to 50, so I'm more than half way through them .... light hearted space nonsense that doesn't leave me thinking about where the story line could have gone, or not game to shut my eyes with the China Melville books https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perdido_Street_Station probably the one that started me down that rabbit hole

I have found that I can get a full night's sleep by staying off the sauce for 2 or 3 days and having a hot chocolate just before bedtime. Unfortunately for me, it's a lot simpler to type this than actually do it. One red, or just a single beer and, nup, no good nights sleep for me.
I take enough pills already. Didn't do my kidneys any favours when I was eating painkillers by the box full back in the old steel fabrication days.

Robert they are at Narung (spelling) we will be going there for a few days. No response from my reply to G daughter, maybe she asked her dad to explain ?? knows. Today was a beautiful day, warm and sunny and the smell of the wisteria and lilac tree was just fantastic, so some gardening was done .Wallabies v All Blacks on tomorrow arvo. :D :D Fruit appearing on the fruit trees and the cherry tree is looking promising. Hope the hips and knees are doing well, and the sleepless are getting better sleep. Off to bed now it is getting cold so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D PS Good to see you back again Deborah XXXXX

Thanks Dot, been a while hey? I arrived home on Tuesday or Wednesday (can't remember) in a good drug haze and have stayed that way until today, Yes I am back. xxxx

The hospital visit has been different. When I left home for the op, my knee would not safely do very much and the stick was totally needed. I have been almost pain free of the week (good drugs) and am now trying to taper them off. I am only taking endone when the pain is really strong. I had to visit the gp today to get him to write me an excuse letter to get out of jury duty in mid October. They expected me to be at Gosford court house by 8:30 AM for a 2 week trial. He gave me a letter that should save me from getting any further demands. Thankfully, he did not mention my current mental state. They would take my drivers license away too. But as I am choosing not to drive, until the drugs are out of my system, I should be ok.
My knee in itself is in much better shape. I have taken a few steps around the house with out using the stick. That could not have happened last week.

For me, this surgery was worth the pain, time will tell.

night all xxx
Deborah

Welcome back Deborah. I hope your recovery is short, sweet and complete. And the same for all the others that have or soon will undergo the surgeons knife. :D
Cheers
