Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Oh that is just a life saver Deborah so glad you like it.
Got the Tickets for NZ so it is all go  Have not told my friends yet. Watch out Norman. George is more excited than me. The young ones went out at 8am home at 5pm showered and back out at 6pm and are not home yet. They went to the pub for a reunion, so I guess they went back to someone's place to continue the celebrations, they are supposedly heading out again at 8am in the morning   Grass Dr came today and gave the lawn a deep treatment of some fertilizer and weed killer. He said to water the lawn 3 times a week so will use the tank for that. As expected, the boss lady from the dental clinic did not ring as promised so a ph call to Oncologist tomorrow for him to give her a kick in her sack. Not long till the BOB's are back on telly :P Well I am not going to wait up any longer for the kids to get home I'm off to bed so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Wimmera Jack x :D

That all looks good Deborah. I love the house door. Is it one of your creations?

Well Dot, when are you flying out and how long are you staying????? Happy planning mate xxxx

Thanks all for your appreciative thoughts on the lift. David, you are right that is one of my glass works. It's a fixed window panel that the neighbours could see in, but with a curtain or blind, it was too dark on the stairs. I made it during the first lockdown. It kept me busy. Now it is the backdrop for the lift. As you open the lift door, all the lights come on (brighter than the Sydney harbour bridge) and they really pick out the colours of the glass. I love it now ,and the joke is that our son hates it (he has no soul) and has always said that he will pull the window out before selling the house. Will have to fight through the lift now, so I feel my work is now there for prosperity.

Today had to take his lordship into Newcastle for a skin appointment. We knew it would be a while, but in the end it was 2 1/2 hours. Plus an hour each way driving. The laser bit was only a few seconds, but the fiddling around and the waiting for creams to take on and then for the laser work to be cooled down....it took too long. I drove home, remembering what a crap passenger he is, but we arrived safely eventually and he had a nap while I had some quiet time.
sleep tight

Today the young ones were out again sightseeing. When they got home they looked the worst for ware (effects from last night) I was once again on the phone to my oncologist to see if the female dog had contacted him = 0 so I rang the dental clinic and asked why she hadn't rang him? Receptionist rang me back to say she had rung the Mt Barker clinic and had got me an appointment 1st April, bit different from Oct but she still said the person was suitable to do my teeth. Funny he has been there for 5 years BUT when I asked if there were any dentists trained by her (the dog) they told me No-one had been trained by her??? Going to be interesting tomorrow when I call in there after we have dropped the young ones off at the airport. Also sent an email to oncologist for him to ring me as I want a referral to the Dental clinic where I trust the people there. Rang the cancer council and the lady there said they cannot make you go somewhere else if you do not want to go there. Bugger these bully A holes, sick of them thinking they are a cut above anyone. Time for bed so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D PS I see you just beat me Deborah, Fly direct ANZ on the 5th Feb until 8th March.. I will be catching up with the sheep shagger so fun times ahead

The young ones are now back home in Brisbane. All I know is that I am knackered and need to hit the shower and bed. Has been a tiring few days. On our way home we called into the Mt Barker dental clinic they want to push me onto. I asked the reception if the Dentist Li (Lee) was available to speak to but there were no dentists there but she will leave him a message for him to ring me sometime so I can question him on his expertise/training from the bit-h. There is something strange about all of this and be buggered if I am going to be shoved onto someone not as qualified as the ones I have been seeing. Deborah are you enjoying your lift? Off to bed now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D

WOW Dot, you are going for a whole month, that must feel really good. You will fix the problems over there that you can't do from here! xxxx

Dot just stole my thunder. We have just booked to visit Adelaide in early Feb, but only for a little bit more than a week. We are flying for the first time in 23 years. I will actually get to see the Chihuly Glass exhibit in the Botanic Gardens, hopefully over several days to spread out the walking.

The visit to the tax man today was good, but he has given me lots of homework for next year. He is wanting to know how much we actually give to charities. I will have to start noting when I give extra to the ladies in op shops (after I have paid for my shopping) as I really don't think about those few dollars adding up, but I guess they do, especially as we seem to visit a lot of them. He has me working out a few more things that he needs to know about the rental, that I had written down for him, so that was a plus.

night all xxx

Just might get to catch up Deborah lets see. I did nothing today due to the fact I didn't wake up until 6.30pm. I put that down to the young ones visit. Brian was with me all that time as well. Have organized a transport mob to pick us up at the airport and also to take us to the airport for departure so I reckon I have covered all the bases. The BOB's start on the 17th :P Nothing doing tomorrow so I may start sorting stuff out what to take and what not to. will need some woolen things they are still getting heaps of rain. Off to bed now so goodnight everyone x :D goodnight
