Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I guess I'm the lucky one. No matter at what time I go to bed, during the day or any time at night, I simply close my eyes and within a couple of minutes I am asleep for as long as I wish. Although, I sometimes set the clock radio to run for 30 minutes if i wish to listen to something prior to falling asleep.

Reminds me of the three old blokes comparing bowel and bladder functions as they've aged and the first two younger ones have a similar complained often hear, but the oldest bloke chimes in and says:
6am every morning, I empty my bowels, at 6:30 I empty my bladder
the other two look at him and ask what he has to complain about with regular body functions like that ....
he replies, I don't wake up until 7am .....

Watching the AO.
The Djoker just won through to Rnd 2… but he had to work hard for it!
His Yank opponent may be unseeded, but he certainly put up a good fight!!
Is this the Djoker’s swansong tournament?
Hope so. His ridiculous tanty about being “poisoned” during his detention before deportation last year is patently absurd and false.
You can’t be “poisoned” with mercury or other heavy metals by a few days of second-rate food in the hotel where he was detained.
Good riddance. 👎👋

I will not tell the time that I woke up today, Tomorrow evening I go to the sleep clinic so when the results come in I will be happy. Not a fan of the tennis much these days as I don't really know them, and the grunters get no interest at all, thankfully the BOB's will start next week. All you sickies get well soon, Goodnight all x :D Goodnight jd x :D

Dot, did you know the Australian road titles are being broadcasted on TV at the moment. All cycling is now a team sport and designed for sprinters. Gone are the days you rode for yourself and you made your own decisions. If you did not think you could win the sprint from a training pace, then you would up the pace to hopefully get rid of the sprinters and any others you were worried about. One of my tactics in hilly terain was sprint up most of the the hill to the top then
a fair part down hill to get a good break then cruise and wait for them to catch up while they struggling up hill. When most caught up I would repeat till either only a few were left I knew I could handle or if needed I would try and break away, and then stay away, as most were not keen to use their reserves to chase and were content to fight for the scraps, I often succeeded.

Have fun at the sleep clinic Dot. Sounds like a waste of time to me, but you do what works for you. Takes me a few nights to get used to a strange bed, so my results would take at least a week to discover the real pattern. Is your bag all packed yet? Or have you got so many things still up and running, that you can't even think of it? xxxx

Yesterday I researched car rentals in Adelaide. We discussed it last night and this morning I went to accept the prices and every hire is now $50 more for the same car over the ten days of hire, with the same company. Do not know what happened there. I tried to ring Avis and ask for any discounts that I could ie NRMA or seniors. Call centre people were useless. They quoted prices that were at least double to what I could get online, so no discount would happen there either. I booked it online, to hold the price, paid a deposit and the rest will be paid on collection. Then the paperwork arrived. It has me a the nominated driver, not him. That took another couple of hours to sort out. By that time, it was siesta time. Enough crap for one day

Nighty night xxx

Good morning Dot. I hope things went well for you at the sleep clinic. I tried that once, all hooked up to the machine that probably went beep. Had a fantastic night's sleep, apparently. They wanted to sell me a CPAP machine. I still don't have one, yet. I can get a pretty good sleep by not drinking alcohol for a few days, but I'm not ready for that yet, either.
Cheers
