Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

David, we have several synthetic grass greens on the Central Coast, not many undercover, Bateau Bay has one synthetic under cover & two grass greens.
We don’t have any real young bowlers at our club, they have tried to get the local high schools involved to no avail, there are a few younger folk playing at other clubs.

No Dot not able to practice bowling in our lounge room, we can practice bowling any day of the week if the greens aren’t being used free exercise. :D

Well, the 2025 Taggerty Men's Cooking Competition has been won by..........
once again...... Alan. He cooked up a wonderful feast of a Papayi Prawn Curry. It was yummo. He was a deserving winner.
Second was Vic with a rotisserie Roast Lamb.
Peter ( tickerman ) came third in his first attempt at the cook off.
There were a few other contestants as well.
I'll put a pic up later if I can.
Cheers

What did you cook this yr Dave? Congratulations to Alan, a rotisserie lamb roast would have been hard to beat so Alan must have done a great job of selling it ...... Half the battle in getting a win is selling the preparation involved, Cuppa proved that with the Cuppa soup win with his first spoon ......

Stayed in bed all yesterday and 3/4 of today, just could not wake up apart from my feet giving me the occasional wake up pain. I thought the "Taggerty cook off" was to be done in the pot in the fire? Congrats to Allen. What did Bernie prepare? I didn't know that Carol didn't go, that's a shame. Was a nice day apparently. Big prang near Hahndorf this arvo, so many sirens and choppers around. Getting cold again so either the air con comes on, a blanket comes out for the knees, or a hot bath then bed , which shall I choose? my faithful rug has won  Thank goodness there is no more election stuff on the tv. Decided to watch ABBA in concert for a while . At least you can sing along and understand the words being sung. Hope everyone is fighting fit and be careful on the roads. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight NCGeorge x :D

Bernie does cook, Dot. He has cooked bacon and egg for his brekky, and a rib fillet steak for his dinner last night. In fact he cooked more this weekend than I did.
I arrived too late on Saturday arvo to get my prep for the cook off sorted. By the time I pitched my swag it was time to sample the first entry in the cookoff.
I was going to cook a meat based stir-fry using a special mince that a mate had concocted, but that might be for dinner tonight up in the Strathbogie Ranges, or not.
Anyway, everybody has departed after having another wonderful weekend at Jon's place.
Thanks again to the Danks family for hosting another great weekend. Once again the weather was fantastic and we all had a great time. Made some new friends and rekindled a few old ones.

Such a boring day, the wind was really strong but no rain yet. The tree lopper coming in the morning and I will be no where in sight if it is cold. Had a long chat with my NZ M8 this arvo, painting still going on in the "original house" so she has moved into the cottage until it is done.Potted up a heap of Queens tears Plants. Rosy's mum is heading into London tomorrow and she is going to try for a pic of my fav Kings guard horse "Orlande" He's the horse that bites all the Asians and Indians, it is so funny. Hope all Taggerty goers are on their way home safely. the smash yesterday near us 2 young boys died, speed again. OK Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Vic x :D

Dot you local news was so sad and such a waste of young lives..Speed as in haste or speed as in drugs? We are seeing so much dope related crime here that it's becoming scary. Hope you are both well xxxx

I had a Dot day here too. It was just a slow day with no energy to get up and go. I pottered around doing a couple of things and heard the door knock. A mate from down the street was coming to join me at progress. He thinks it's time to get involved and I'm glad for the company. The only problem? Progress is not until next week. He had a seat and we chatted about the mess the council are in for a while...a long while before he went back down the street to home. So nothing really was achieved in the house and I am still feeling washed out. Wish that I had had a drink or two last night and then the feeling would at least have a genuine cause!

Nighty night xxx
