Went to the beauty salon today for a freshen up, I am ready to hit the clubs tonight.
Deborah I love the latest artwork I have been asleep for a couple of days even had to cancel my Dr appointment. Brian was with me every second. The wind and rain was horrific but not as much today thank goodness, Time to light the fire now the sun is slowly sinking in the west. Our young friend that was going home to NZ has just landed, He was a certified caravan/motorhome repairer and he told George that he was angry the way some repairers did the wrong thing by their clients thus his decision to go home. I hope it works out for him as he is a nice guy.Got an email from Sue in NZ she has another claim from her bro and rotten lawyer now wanting 2 paintings he gave Sue as a birthday present over 30 years ago plus he also wants payment of over $600k, he has also put a bankruptcy notice on her property... The legal system is more corrupt than here if that is possible, Time to think about food for tea so I shall say goodnight everyone x Take extra care if on the roads Goodnight Vic & Glenda x

Terry, she has been awarded costs BUT they never get paid. His crooked lawyer never replies even to the judges orders and still O gets done. The court has asked the lawyer to show who and how much $ he has received but once again O. Yes we see some action being taken to the law overseers and even her prev lawyer because he did things without getting the ok from Sue. (she sacked him) there is so much dirty work going on here it's unreal.

Makes you glad that we live in Aus with almost sensible legal systems in place, hey Dot? Can't really say that the same would never happen here, because we all know there are some real scum in the legal profession here too. Glad you like the glob mate xxxx

I love the idea of putting in brass candlesticks, but the brass would cause the glass to break away from it and crack as the brass and glass have very different cooling and shrinking times. I sell them as being great as vases for single roses, candle stick holders and paper weights with space for pens on top. I do sometimes shove a rose, pen or candle in the holes just for demos, but most people can see the uses once told about them. Thanks everyone for the lovely comments. I do enjoy my shed time and love sharing with you lot. Yes, I do make most of my molds from a strange kiln fabric that gets hardened before firing. Not cheap, but heck it's still fun.

This splat plate is also out of the kiln this week. It started life as a splat for a lady in Bathurst. She broke it and it's been getting different incantations for quite a lot of firings. Happily I gave her a replacement for half price and kept the busted bits.

Splats make great fruit bowls and do sell pretty well. But not having been at any events for a long time, I don't know what will sell or not. Hoping to get out to an event very soon.

Love the latest splat plate the best, but still wouldn't survive travelling in the Winnie. Not game to buy anything for the new house until we see where it will be and what the lay out is ..... we moved everything from our house in the Illawarra to Mannum, then bought a fully furnished house ..... Don't want to repeat that one, and where would we put it while the next house is determined anyway .....

Dottie, do they have a TV show that exposes the dodgie practices like that, I'm sure they would run with a story like that and get the system cleaned up .... or at least, not be game to tackle her again .....

T1 yes there is a guy that digs into dirty stuff and I have written to him x 2. Way back I wrote to so many pollies and got no where time and time again it made us more convinced there was something stinky in the courts. Some I wrote to were the PM (Jacinta A) Corrections dept minister, 2 MP's, TV channel, Sir Winston Peters, and a few more I have forgotten. The only one that took any notice and action was the Police Commissioner. The latest I have written to is a guy named Patrick Gower. so will wait a few days before I ring him and the Ombudsman. Sue has contacted the ombudsman before and guess result? = 0. I didn't ring Sue tonight as she has something to tell me tomorrow night. You reckon you got pooped on with your claims, one week when you have time to read Sues court notes you will see what I mean. You talked of hindsight my NZ friend that died a couple of mths ago would of been able to get something done as he was well known and respected. Anyway once again today a late start, I woke G up at around 4am asking him where was I and to turn his light on, there I was laying across the bed with my head hanging over the side of the bed and no covers on, no wonder I was cold. Have now packed away 49 sausage rolls - one G pinched. I have done a Dave, I put my dads navy whistle somewhere ready to post and bugger me now I have no idea where it is. I was finally able to see the picture of the splat that I put up last night. What a shocker of a photo. It really does look a lot better than that photo. I will try again soon to get a decent photo to use in my "publicity" posts on f**kbook.

Today was freezing (still) but the sun was shining and the wind was still. So a nice enough day. I had the chore of taking out all the display boxes that hold pendants for sale. Most of the boxes needed cleaning and the contents needed to be freshened up. So new layers of black velvet coated foam were installed. I removed at least one pendant from each foam sheet, to make it more spread out, then replaced all the pieces in different order, so that it all looks very much fresher. I hope to get the people to stop and look a bit more/longer than they have been doing. Maybe even get a chance to sell some stuff soon.

A nothing day today and a BOB's rest day and O on tv so off to bed. Rang my NZ mate this arvo, she was sounding brighter and hoping her new lawyers get stuck into this scum ie her bro and his lawyer. She has now been notified that her bro is claiming a couple of paintings he gave to her in 2004 for her birthday? This has to end soon. G saw the physio today and he is pleased with G's shoulder progress so only home exercises and no more appointments unless needed. I have the dentist in Mt Barker this Wednesday then a phone consult with Oncologist on Thursday. Maybe things settling down?? I see the Prof1 is home Hope all you sickies are feeling better. See my receptionist on your way out and fork over $185.
Fortunately, after Medicare rebate it cost me less than $20.

After so many (and frequent) visits to Drs & specialists we’ve reached the ‘jackpot’ zone and are on max rebates & free prescriptions. Cost us an arm, a leg and some more sensitive parts, though…
