2 watts. (24v/3000w)

I think you're looking at the wrong manual.

Ahhh..... see the problem now, you don't have a Multiplus II, you have the basic inverter only, no mains switch through, inverter assist when the load exceeds the programmed max shore power load, tailored charging to balance shore power and load ..... lots of stuff the basic inverter doesn't have, so yes, your inverter is very easy to set up and adjust parameters ..... our inverter is a tad more techo and required a lot more parameter tuning .....

Not a 'problem'.

Happily using it down at Port Fairy now.

Did the king pins match?

The whole "ECO MODE" through me, I thought it was only the small output inverters up to 1200va had that feature. If your max load doesn't exceed 2400w and the inverter internal temp remains under 40*C, they do look like a great alternative, I guess, as long as the ambient temp remains below around 35*C.
I see you can even get a 5000va model in 24v and 48v and it appears they can be paralleled as well .... might look at the price comparison and see if I can piggy back a 12/3000 smart into the 5000 Multiplus II to give me a continuous delivery of 6,500w, as long as I keep their temp below 40*C ....... mounted inside like I mounted the Multiplus II, the rooftop rattler can keep the temp down enough to make that possible ....

As far as any working on the Winnie, it was Christmas, the body wasn't happy with all the driving back to back and the stress of the whole shitte show, I took the 2 days off ....

Two days off? The majority did the same. Christmas and Boxing days.

Back to work, smoko is over. ;)

What's the plan, what will you attempt first?

Now I'm really p*ssed off, just lifted the front of the Winnie so the wheels were off the ground .... and there is no kingpin play, using a tyre lever to try to get any movement at all out of them ..... going to have a coffee and try it with a crowbar, but I still believe they are fine, there is no sign where the grease and dirt have been disturbed, and that would be obvious if the kingpin bushes were worn ......

I'll replace the 16 clearance lights and numberplate light with LED units, still trying to find the excessive play it the steering he claims was outside specs ....

I am now convinced he was just trying to drum up work ..... Now to figure out the next steps ..... maybe pressure wash the area both sides and spray them black, then new grease pumped through ..... if it looks as good as new, it must be new

Does the camber change under weight?

I did the king pins on the bus. Not that hard. Why not just bite the bullet and do them anyway. Worst, new pins and bushes. Easiest, just new bushes.

What about verticle? Might just need another shim?
Weight of tyre will hang in at the bottom so will need crowbar out at bottom. Or trolley truck etc.

$460 and end of Jan before they get here, then the labour of pulling it apart and putting it back together.....

I think I'll wait till the new yr, find out about the 100 club thing and get the mechanic from Males Transport who apparently administers the whole thing, to see if he thinks the kingpins need to be replaced .... If he fails them as well, then, I'll order the parts and do the job in Feb or when ever the parts arrive.

When it cools down a bit, I'll have a crack at replacing the bent steps and when the 16 LED clearance lamps arrive, I can fit them .....

My thermofan gauge and controller arrived, so I'll use that to drive the fans for the trans cooler, then I'll have a reading for the trans oil temp as well ....

Yea, I know. I was dreading doing mine. But in the end, it was one of the easiest jobs to do.
