Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Thanks Dave, We would be heading up through the middle to Tennant Creek then to Collinsville then Isa and then who knows where. Also depends on the weather conditions and any medical stuff, but we shall try. Have been watching the Athletics in Tokyo watched Elly Beer's qualifying 400mt but she came last , she didn't look herself but her competition were top class. She is the grandaughter of Jan and Dave Binkin (c-c-) people.Any one watching CH7 SPOTLIGHT? How sick are people when it comes to child abuse?? I didn't think people could be so sick? I could actually line these sickies up and do away with them all. In Taree a guy named Tony Brimbell who went to court and got a suspended sentence for many counts of child abuse. Was the judge one of his fellow mates??? The world is fornicated for sure. Off to have a nice hot shower then into a nice warm bed to watch the BOB's . Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Vic n Glenda x :D

The boys on here really crack me up. We had the strongest winds throughout the night and most of the day, just had a few small branches down, Brian and I watched the trees blowing all around as we laid in bed thinking about getting up but we just went back to sleep for another couple of hrs. HTFFBO rang to say all was OK with Paul and next check up in a mth or so before the ok to get on the road again.BOB's finished a few k's from the finish line due to stupid protesters blocking the road but the winner was already decided, keep politics out of sport :( We were going to take the bus for an afternoon tea somewhere today but the wind put a stop to that Oh well another day. G is making me some custard for tea,no interest in eating at all at the mo. Early night again so take care everyone and goodnight x :D Goodnight Ray n Joy x :D

Where is everyone? I am off to bed soon, managed to finish pulling the grass from the fruit tree hay mulch and not too much more of the other side of the house garden. Blossom appearing on more fruit trees so hoping for a better crop this year. Back man rang to see if G would like an earlier appointment tomorrow, anything to avoid peak hr.. Potted some sweet pea seeds last week and they are popping their heads up already. Deborah the Boronia plant is still alive  Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Deborah x :D

Good one Dot. Boronia should stay healthy now that it's in the right place. Hope that cough is getting smaller too xxxx

I have been totally stuffed since coming here last week. Friday was setting up the business and it took a couple more hours than we are used to. Totally out of practise.
Saturday came out with brilliant sunshine and not a lot of customers on the floor. The few that were there, didn't come near our area very much. By the end of the day , we had made a huge total of 2 sales. We were totalled by then.

Sunday was another bright and warm day, but the customers even came out to play. We ended up the day with the best tally for the whole weekend, that we have had at this event, so it was a good day, eventually. We were totally stuffed.

Monday, we packed up and drove home, by the time that we unpacked the van and put the van down the yard, we were both wrecked. I had a 2 hour nap before we had dinner.

Today was also a slow day. Our kids are threatening to visit this weekend, so we need to find them a space to rest their heads. The spare bed is a bit over run with junk at the moment. I did try to do some quick cleaning/tidying but tomorrow may have to get serious about the tidying and changing sheets etc.
I have been hearing a lot of people telling of families that have had wills disasters. The main issue being when a son or daughter dies before the parents. If our will says the grandkids get their share it isn't going to help the surviving parent to raise the kids. So I have got us an appointment to have a long chat with our solicitor next week and re-do our wills to accommodate all the possibilities of modern life.

night all xxx

Hi Deb,
Good to hear you’re making some $$$ at last.
Saw this beautiful bowl at the only large vineyard we visited in the Swan Valley wine tour.
IMG_6240.jpeg
If it had been a local craftsperson who made it, I wouldn’t have baulked at the $170 price. However, the sticker says “Made in Turkey”, so it stayed on the shelf.
Interesting texturing though. The inside is smooth, texture on outside.

At least you got your expenses paid for plus some for you and you got away. Re the kids coming, chuck stuff off the bed onto the floor and put the sheets on the end of the bed and they can make it themselves.simple. Wills hmm must do ours :o My sister has done her will and all through it is "What if" covers every thing you can think of that could happen. I am going to be looking for the nastiest SOB that does wills. My son did it with me when he 1/ walked through the house then the winnie and said" Geeze mum hope your will is done as I don't want to go through the crap I had to with dads will" He contested it, and you do not do that. So with mine he will get a very small donation of $500 so he can't contest. Anyway we will not be doing any long trips this year, just a week at a time due to, Mt G went for final diagnosis / treatment of his legs. All types of scans, X/rays, nerve conduction tests , steroid jabs, pills etc He gave a couple of options and as always the dangers and then said "Go home discuss what you want and let me know." the options 1/ do nothing 2/Wait till you are older and maybe other illness's may be present preventing surgery. 3/Surgery now /soon while healthy to release the pressure on the nerves while you are reasonably fit/healthy. This surgeon never says he can totally cure your ailment but will give it his best shot. Interesting we had a bit of a chat about him retiring and he said because he has had a privileged life he wants to mentor some of the not so lucky people in their careers. So decision has been made and that is for option #3 surgery in November ? Was a bit windy this morning but the afternoon turned out rather nice.In one of the lavender bush we have 2 baby honey eater babies, hope they last longer than the last lot one of those rotter wattle birds got them both, hate those birds, they are bullies. Has anyone ever taken anything to Cash converters AND? Off to bed now, Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Ray n Joy x :D

Dot, if you are going to list a smallish amount for son to inherit, the solicitor should suggest that you put some reasoning as to why the amount in writing in the will. That helps with a lot of the contesting wills in future. Hope that Mr G's surgery happens as soon as possible. Sounds like the right decision was made. xxxx

Today I found a bed under all the junk in the spare room. I love the idea of just giving them the fresh sheets to do it themselves, but not my style. The bed will get made tomorrow with an assistant on the other side helping. It just happens to be the easiest bed to get made in the house.

After unpacking and packing up the glass stall, my back has been giving me a few complaints. They usually disappear with a couple of good sleeps, not this time. A visit to my friendly chiropractor tomorrow to get all straightened out and should be back to normal by the weekend.

Looking like the sunshine is almost staying around for a while. Might rain on Friday but none after that...happy days.

Took the bus out for a cobweb blow out to Langhorne Creek (Potts reserve) and had afternoon tea before heading for home. Now there is a $5 nightly fee for a dunny and some tables and seats. Frank Potts donated that space free for travelers but the council stepped in and an instant cash cow. There were 18 campers in there when we were there. Rang the back mans rooms to get a surgical date and the nice lady said Dec 3rd but she would check any cancellations and if any she will ring, I have been in both of the hospitals he works out of so I requested the one I had my neck done.(better food and no nuns ) Deborah re the will thing, all you have to prove is that the child was not neglected in any way, was fed, clothed , schooled, holidays etc. I worked night shift to pay for his private boarding school fees for 8 years the school was St Peters in Cambridge NZ and later at Whangarei boarding school , he went on excursions from both schools and they were also added costs so I don't think he would have a chance, plus he had holidays back to Oz to visit family. But there won't be anything left to bother about  You are a good mum compared to me but once you have shat on me then you do not get a second chance no matter who you are. Remember you can't choose family but you can and I do friends.I have been using Vicks on my neck and brow for aches and pains but the surprising thing is I've also rubbed it into my poor old ankles and it does a good job. BTW I would make up a bed for you D. Cough has virtually gone as well. Stay safe everyone and Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D

Dot all that proof of being a good mother has to go in the will or once you are not here the "darling" can say anything he likes to get his hands on any left behind moneys. Sounds like he is quite capable of saying anything to get his hands on your dough. Thanks for the offer to put sheets on my bed ;) ;) Glad that I am cared for too. xxxx

Robert your news is sounding like you will be feeling more human for a few months. Glad that it helps you mate. xxx

Today was a rerun of yesterday for a while. Spare bedroom has been totally found and the room is ready for a quick vacuum, so all is good there.

The afternoon was spent seeing my lovely chiro lady and I do feel a lot better for seeing her.

Next was on to ww to get the necessary things to feed the family on the weekend. It was interesting that it was a late-ish visit and the aisles were not as full of personal shopper monster trolleys. Might have to start going there later in the day to get a clearer run through the aisles.
