Terry did you see the Prius taxi on the news or what was left of it after the battery caught alight.
Gotta link? It would be interesting to see if it was actually a battery fire or a petrol fire like all the others. There are those out there that will put any negative spin they can on electric vehicles, the same as they do with lithium batteries and ethanol fuel, solar and wind power etc etc, some have a lot to loose
Today converting a 20 litre container for grey water, fixing tap at sink and emptying the cupboards and weighing evey thing.
Sorting out what we have not used and what we will use or the trip to Adelaide.
Have to sort the fridge 12 v supply out and run a new out let to the side of the van as well.

When are you expecting to be in Adelaide?

Spent the day looking at the job ahead resurrecting the Hino for a trip to Crystal Brook for the next off grid solar install. If Margaret is happy with it we may be adding yet another motorhome to the fleet. The trip to WA proved the Mazda would be better suited to someone a tad closer to the ground as far as bed length and just a tad small for Margaret when it comes to long term traveling when it's cold and rains all the time.
Still in the "let's wait and see" basket but I remember what happened when we took the Mazda to Taggerty after the Kombi shat an engine The addition of a shower and a toilet you don't need to extract from the cupboard has ticked a few boxes as well.

Hi Dot most likely the week before Christmas
Then you MUST stop over and we shall have a little local gathering. I may not be able to give you the real Dot treatment but I'm sure the others will impress you

Yeah, but by the time I'd done the sales pitch Steve posted it was sold. We still want to finish the big bus project one day as well as the restoration of Kombi and conversion to battery/electric, both the Hino and big bus would be strong enough to tow it or the workshop trailer, the Mazda can as well but it would be a bit silly towing the Kombi behind the Mazda cause they would be close enough to the same size.
If we do decide to go with the Hino we will finish the Mazda and put it on the market
