"tanks" here---Ray,
The great divide is not having a fruit or window machine , but having one and not knowing what to do with it.
Mine frightens me, the same with my 'smart' phone.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Thought for Today
I would have thought you would have known the difference between a computer and an apple product

Seems an apple product can't even get a photo the right way up ......

Re: Thought for Today
T1,
We were internet-less for three weeks prior to arriving in Bundy, only phone data.
My pooter continued to function stand-alone, drafting stuff for a publication at home (transmitted when we reached Bundy), adding spreadsheet data...you know, all the boring routine stuff.
I also have all 20,000+ of my photos stored on a USB drive... don't even need the cloud for that. It's handy as a data backup, though.
Phone prob with photo orientation is solvable. I did it with my last phone. I've just forgotten how & can't be bothered trawling the help pages again when admin people can fix it. I just have to remember to take landscape pics with the phone reversed to the 'comfortable' orientation, with the shutter button on the bottom rather than the top. Simples!
===============
BTW,
Once I dug the pooter out from under the stuff filed on the floor, I did manage to extract the "Thesaurus" cartoon.

Re: Thought for Today
Saw this at the shops the other day. Thought I best pass it on. For all those with a beard. Perish the thought.
