Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

G'night Keith.

41 at bedtime is hot. No need for the electric blanket.....

here's an idea.

If you left the electric blanket on the ground on a hot day, could it reverse cycle the heat back into electricity? Imagine that, it could cure climate change.

Jon, I think you need a little rest mate. Some of your ideas are becoming very outlandish. Having said that, I do like the low rider idea though.

Early start to go to the crap fang farrier 2 fillings done, he and his assistant have no personality at all.He took a photo of my "thing" on my tongue / arm where it all began to send to specialist G said there was no way he could of taken a pic as he didn't even move the slug to even see it Arrrrh. Then off to the green shed again for some colour samples for kitchen cupboards. Still no agreement   Bought another Hoya  Saw lemons are $2 each in Coles and Woolies. We have a goldmine. Maggie and baby came for a feed. Brian to vet for eye lid check up tomorrow. .I had a pretty good find today in Kmart, I thought it was just a floppy Xmas top but turned out to be PJ's and marked at $1 Happy with that  The fire in the Fleurio is right near our old place at Ashbourne, that area got a real beating from Ash Wednesday but when we were in Ashbourne 1992 there was a fire starting in the forest behind our place, I had my L) hand in Plaster, my dads XY s wagon (manual) 4 dobermans, 4 cats, 1 budgie and 1 TB horse so all the dogs cats and bird in the wagon horse tied to passenger door handle and me just putting the car into 2nd gear and getting out of there.Never want to be in that situation again though. So scary and how heartbreaking for those people. Hope everyone is safe. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Robert n Bob hope Molly is ok. x :D Can still smell the smoke from the fire now under control. :D

Dot, can you get your GP to do a better photo and send it to the specialist? Seems like your fang farrier is bit short on some skills, if he can't even do a clear photo. Sadly, you will smell that fire for a long time yet, It seems to be a very lingering aroma. Hope the vet visit is as easy as the last one was. Brian might be learning some new tricks or even some better manners ;) . xxxx

Today was hot n humid with no rain. I seemed to float around doing little things all day. I did spend a lot of time in the study, clearing up some files and tidying the desk area. Not really a wasted day. I found the folder with a list of the audio books that we have listened to on longer trips and remembered that we have heard all that we own. A long visit to evil bay to find some more stories that we will both enjoy. That took quite a lot of time, as we have a very different view of books to hear, so I had to give him some suggested titles as well.

Maybe good news. The roofer is returning tomorrow and we have a clear forecast at the moment. That means another day with 7:30 start for the one who sleeps better than Dot. Maybe get in an afternoon nap.

night night xxx
Deborah

Dunno Dave.... That's what they thought about my great great distant Uncle Leo.

An interesting story about Uncle Leo; he sailed to the America's as a youth. He said, I arrive in peace. They replied, that's very noble of you and gave him a gold coin.

Uncle Leo Da Vinci.... Not only full of ideas, and, he made contraptions too. Or was he the first to make contraptions?

Anyway.....

After sailing to the America's, the storms blew him way off course, up into the Viking lands. He took shelter in a fjord and was befriended by the Nords.

As a way of repaying, He offered the gold coin. The Nords quizzed him about it.... In a really heavy Roman accept, Uncle Leo said that he arrived in peace, and they gave him a coin as acceptance of peace and said he was very noble. He told the Nords, that he was really surprised by this offering and honoured it greatly.

And that, he's offering it to them as they are noble, peaceful people too. And, again, this was a real surprise to the honoured Viking Nords.

The Vikings mulled over this at the fire that night. One said, we should keep this. and maintain its story. The young viking asked what should we call this story. And the old man said, It's the Noble Peace Surprise.

I'm almost 100% certain your Uncle Leo never sailed anywhere.
Let alone to the America's. Now if you had said it was his brother Uncle Chris, the Spaniard, then I may have believed you.
And it was Uncle Alf that started the No bell piece prize, cos he blew it (the bell) up, when he was a lil' tucker. That's why Auntie Joyce was always cranky with him.

Well Dave......

Who do you reckon gave Uncle Chris the idea?
Uncle Leo of course.

Leo, the original ideas man. Actually the second. Adam had a good idea before that, but it sort of got screwed up in a few different ways. Anyway, that's a different story.

'here---
Where are you all ?
The WA time is 7:30 pm on Wednesday, and I am here on my own. The time zone over there on the other side is 8:30 pm or 9:30 pm whatever.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
