Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

How long was the line when you were there?
Pathetic that there were only 2 on the registration desks!!
Probably around 10 mins to the door, then it seemed to take for ever once we got that far, yet Brian was in and out in around 10 mins. I think it was the out of town voters that were causing most of the hold up and the line for them to put their ballot paper in the boxes was nearly as long as the line up at the door, but as locals, once we reached the front of the line it was all over within a few mins.

I did ask the read team and they said they would do their best to make sure such a mistake never happened again after this vote ;) talk about confident eh  the seat is a safe Liberal seat so I doubt much will change locally ......

Good morning everyone. I spent most of yesty giving the shrubbery along the front fence its annual haircut. It was so windy i was a bit worried that I would be blown off the temp scaffold that I climbed up on to get it done. Should get it finished today if the weather is OK.
How is the back today Bernie?
Have a great day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

"tanks" here---Dot,
Find another Vet. Get the medicals from an on-line supply.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Tanks there is a place called Petceutics, you have to have your vet fill out their Veterinary Prescription form. Their costs are sooooo much cheaper. I am awaiting a reply from the company that own the local vet clinic. :)

Happy Anniversary Bob and Robyn, hope you enjoyed the celebrations 8-) Seems both Margaret and I forgot our anniversary on the 12th of this mth, we were busy working trying to get the build up of jobs out at the time  Think it was our 17th anniversary, longest I've ever been married or in a long term relationship, took me a while but I reckon I found a keeper this time ....... but then, I wasn't the one that left in any of the other failures either .....

My experience with the 'local' vet was that he would not write a script, but insisted on dispensing the medication from his stock at 10 times the price of an on-line supply.
Your Vet may be one of the following, but I don't think they will give you a script.

Most vets are happy to provide a prescription to their clients, and prescriptions are requested every day.

When asking for a prescription, here are some tips to keep in mind:

They’re not obliged to write you a script on request.
It’s their choice, and they may require examining your pet in person.
Sourcing affordable medicine is in the interest of the pet.
Most vets will prioritise the cost and experience over personally selling the medication.
They may charge a fee for writing the script.
Vets typically charge between $10 and $20. In most cases, buying from PetScripts (phone 14300 7387 777) is still cheaper than buying from a vet.
If your pet is in critical need of this medicine, your vet will advise you to purchase in-clinic.
This avoids delays in giving it to your pet.
Vets often take comfort writing a script knowing that PetScripts uses Australian pharmacists and requires a prescription.
Where there are any doubts, vets are encouraged to call PetScripts to confirm for themselves.
If your vet is unwilling to write a prescription or you feel the fee is excessive, you can raise your concerns with them.
If you are still uncomfortable, you may consider seeking out another vet.
Not all vets have a prescription pad handy.
Consider printing out and taking a copy of our prescription template with you.
