Vet said she won’t be finished until about 1700… a bit of a longer visit than we expected.
However, Euroa has a very pleasant park with BBQS, so a quick trip to the supermarket for some snags & bread rolls, and a stop at the op shop for a 20c pair of tongs and Bob’s your auntie’s husband! Instant lunch.
Lady pulled up with a greyhound/saluki cross. Got her out for introduction to Megs (can’t make a trip like this with only one of them)… lady warned us that her girl can sometimes get snappy.
So what happens? Nose contact seemed ok, but with lightning speed that changed.
The result is a small cut on Megs’ neck.
Fortunately the vet is 100m around the corner from the park. Megs is being assessed now.
While I wait in the park, I was approached by this fat magpie. Obviously it knows it can get food from around the BBQS… and does so, regularly!
