I wonder how old that Chevy Volt was, the battery is covered by an 8yr/100,000 mile warranty and that car only had 70,500 on the clock. The labour cost is outrageous as well, $1,200 labour for a job you could do your self at home.
Looking on line and the Chevy Volt forum, the replacement battery is only around the $3,000 mark so ....

I didn't get up to much 3 more of the locals got a bag each (orange's) yesterday...they weren't home the other day.
Dave the shed is on hold at the moment....bloody council
Not as cold here as the last 4 days, but I haven't been outside yet

Good morning from me, this morning in Hervey Bay. We came up yesty at very short notice. It's a bit cloudy, but still shorts and short sleeve weather. Lots of birds about here too.

Had a pleasant afternoon shooting the breeze with Newcastle George yesterday… after I cooked us my Master Chef special: Chicken, spinach and leek risotto.
(Ably assisted by the Sous Chef, of course.
)
Like SWMBO, he cleaned his plate, so I count that as a vote of approval, despite his scoring of only 6/10.

Just a little bit of cleaning around the shed yesterday, I have a trailer full of stuff for the tip,
So I didn't get up to much.
But its bacon and eggs day again...bloody weeks a flying.
Gave away a few more oranges...still one tree not touched...I may not leave as many fruit on this coming season ,
