Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all from sunny Bingara, the first timers come in today then the rest tomorrow. Had rain yesterday morning but cleared up at lunch time to a nice afternoon. Had a BBQ for the Volunteers last evening, steak or sausage, onions & coleslaw with buttered bread. Drinks supplied and enterained by the wonderful Gayle O'Neil [who will be our mcee all week].

Cheers

Good morning All. I spent a few hours at hospital emergency this morning, having skin damage to my calf checked out to make certain I am not likely to get an infection as it's the last thing I need prior to heading for Abu Dhabi and England mid next month.

Headed down there yesterday afternoon, the path out to the point where the gear is set is already in flood .... at least the pump will survive this time
Seems it's special cable for going through the water pipe and the cost went up substantially, it appears either a DC well pump like before or a replacement inverter will be the cheaper option ..... and a lot less work  I did think about running a small diameter pipe through the large diameter pipe and running the cable through that, but that meant digging that hole in the roadside to find the pump .... so that was a rather short thought process to rule that one out.
Seems self priming pumps don't lift dirty water for very long before they no longer self prime

Beautiful day today and lots done. My sister sent me a video of Woolshed falls in Beechworth Vic where we lived and my Mum & Dad were the caretakers of the powder magazine, have never seen so much water rushing down those falls. Robert n Bob I would be heading to see your friend bas soon as I could, timetables of impending death is not a certainty and I doubt you and your friend would like to take the chance for a last goodbye. Keep safe everyone .

Yep, that exactly what I had in mind. Lots of little ceramic discs holding the stages apart.

Good morning, all :)
Big day was had yesterday Son and two of his Son's arrived. The two remaining panels were removed, then it became beer o'clock for a cupple before their journey home, plus his youngest got two put a cupple more hours towards his driving license.
Then after lunch I went up on top and sanded the whole roof with electric sander, I looked like a snow man when I got down :D :D . Will see what goes on today I would like to put the masking tape up before starting the main job.
And favorite morning...Bacon and eggs ;) ;)
Safe trip to see your mate RnB.
Bernie.
