Good morning everyone. We had a nothing day yesty. Went to the boozer for a feed then drove out to Foxbar Falls for a look at the camp ground. That was a surprise. Way busier than I thought it would be, and not what I had expected.
We had bacon, eggs, hashbrown and corn fritters for brekky.
Probably won't need lunch til beer o' clock this arvo now.

Good morning all. Getting excited as visitors for lunch - primary school friends not seen for mannnnnnny years. Terry Bruce had man had to get to Kolan river in a hurry many times to lift pumps out of water before flooding arrived- usually a few times a year. Cane farmers further up river would pass the word down that water was rising. Fun times irrigating sugar cane. The men often were under water clearing weeds etc from inlet pipes. Have a photo of a stark naked Bruce doing that at our pressure pump for my house dam water supply.

Good morning, everyone.
I finished the sanding on the roof and the masking tape applied, it looked like rain most of the time, so the tarp went back up, along with the customary swear words I can't help myself
And it did finally rain we had almost two hours of it...but only light. So now I'm waiting for two good sunny hours to complete the job. And you are right Dave that stuff is slippery when wet.
That was yesterday done and dusted I did use the leaf blower then wiped it all down with a wet cloth.

Another great day in Central Qld and the sun is turned on with the temp running around 22 c. Yesterday we had rain in heavy squalls in the afternoon and showers throughout the night, but clear sky now.
Bernie, I fear for you doing a slippery dip from up there on the roof with only Carol to catch you.
