Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here---
Note that the UK Gov has been diagnosed with a rupture and has had to wear a TRUSS for 6 weeks.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning everyone. Late start for me, had a crap night.
Taking the Winny to get checked over this morn. I can't figure out what is wrong with the electrics.
I hope everybody on the sicklist is on the way to recovery.
Safe travels all those out and about.

Border Crossing from one of our barristers in Australia.
The information below should be read by everyone, whether you agree to its contents, or not !!!

*** NOW, LET ME SEE IF I'VE GOT THIS RIGHT....

IF YOU CROSS THE NORTH KOREAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET 12 YEARS HARD LABOUR.

IF YOU CROSS THE IRANIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU ARE DETAINED INDEFINITELY.

IF YOU CROSS THE AFGHAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU GET SHOT.

IF YOU CROSS THE SAUDI ARABIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE JAILED.

IF YOU CROSS THE CHINESE BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU MAY NEVER BE HEARD FROM AGAIN.

IF YOU CROSS THE VENEZUELAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE BRANDED A SPY AND
YOUR FATE WILL BE SEALED.

IF YOU CROSS THE CUBAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE THROWN INTO A POLITICAL
PRISON TO ROT.

IF YOU CROSS THE AUSTRALIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU GET:
* A JOB,
* AN INTERPRETER,
* FREE LEGAL AID,
* A DRIVERS LICENCE,
* A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER,
* WELFARE,
* CREDIT CARDS,
* FREE EDUCATION,
* FREE HEALTH CARE,
* DOLLARS WORTH OF PUBLIC DOCUMENTS PRINTED IN YOUR LANGUAGE
* THE RIGHT TO CARRY YOUR COUNTRY'S FLAG WHILE YOU PROTEST THAT YOU DO NOT GET ENOUGH RESPECT.

Sensationalism? Then think about just this one [not so] small aspect...
The Australian Federal Government provides the following financial assistance:-

BENEFIT

AUSTRALIAN AGED PENSIONER
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN AUSTRALIA

Weekly allowance

$253.00 / $472.50

Weekly Spouse allowance

$56.00 / $472.50

Additional weekly hardship allowance
$0.00 / $145.00

TOTAL YEARLY BENEFIT

$16,068.00 / $56,680.00

If I were a refugee, why would I look for work? And the current Government is saying that 'elderly Australia' is going to put the country $100 Bn into debt in the next few years?!
Then why was so much money spent on off shore detention centres, if they just hand out everything to anyone who arrives without going through the proper process? :roll:

Surely, the local canning companies can invent some sort of debaucherous festival to dispose of their excesses????

Sorry Bernie.

Nigel just advises of the rain before the mobs know. He can't stop it.

Says that the art industry is full of scammers and it's hard to get consultancy work and be taken seriously these days.

Reckons his great grandfather used to study the weather years ago and send one line telegrams to the newspaper editors. Disappointingly, they would paraphrase it and print an inaccurate version.

Since then.... he has refined his bone and tea leave techniques to be far more accurate. The internet has helped remove the editors tinkering.

Nigel once told me a old family story where his oldest great grandfathers said it was going to rain for 7 days and nights. The editors didn't believe it. .... anyway.... that's old history now he lamented.

But. He was really proud that the paper boy told his dad and they had a tinny. They grabbed the dog, cat, missus and floated away.

And again the editors screwed up that story too.
