Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It's still good morning here in not so sunny SE Qld. We had 50mm of rain overnight. Still more to come says BoM.
Achieved not very much yesty due to inclent weather, hope to get something done today. We have just returned from a big walk and there is a fair bit of water laying about. The big drains are flowing freely. Lots of birds about, feeding on insects and worms.
George, I hope Julie only has a mild case. It isn't much fun being crook whilst overseas.
Stay safe and dry everybody, get well soon all those on the sick list.
Cheers

Yeah .... It has finally rained enough to wash the rubbish out of the pipes that run from the house gutters to the tops of the tanks. So much washed out it over-whelmed the tanks strainers resulting in a flood across the back patio. Margaret braved the floods and emptied the tank strainer baskets and now we have water going into the tanks 8-) It might change from pumping water from the river to pumping excess water from the roof rain water tanks to the upper tanks, a much easier job .... well, once I brave the high water out to the point and out to retrieve the pump anyway  Might end up a swimming task rather than a wading type event.

Absolutely stupid if you don't, until they figure this bug out you can't let your guard down anywhere or any time no matter what "they "say. Hope she kicks it quickly.

Hi all,
NO rain last night or today. The intenal roads have dried out enough to drive on BUT the paddocks that most are camped on are quite wet. Two tractors pulled 38 or so out onto the drivable road and they have left. No one is to move without the tractor, but of course there are those that say "I can get out OK" some tried so the tractor drove around them all day.
We [Lance, Bartry and I] are booked on the tractor for Thursday [suits us]. Hired buses and vehicles are taken back to Tamworth tomorrow. HWW's AGM and BBQ was on tonight, Volenteers BBQ tomorrow night [I've cooked one meal this week]. We have been to the Sporting Club, The RSL both Chinese, Wednesday the TOP PUB for lunch. Barry has to go to Gunadah, booked in to get his new dog desexed, at present the road is closed, but should be open by Thursday.
Have only heard of one complaint when a newby drove through my site and over five power cords one power main and one water main to avoid the dug up mud. When confronted by the ERT [Emergency Response Team] she said I'm not comming again, we said that's good.

Good morning everyone. The rain looks to have moved off to the south overnight. Dunno how much we have had yet. Its trying to be sunny and there are 4 - 5 different types of birds with their morning calls outside the window. Might be able to get some weeds mowed today, its starting to look ugly out there.
Stay safe and dry everybody, have a top day.
Cheers

Good morning everyone. We had a brief shower blow through an hour or so ago. Don't think it will trouble the gauge much. Yesterday turned out being a nice day here, Bandit even got to go for a swim.
I spent a few hours pulling out Bindii from the front yard yesty, but probably haven't got it all yet.
Have a great day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers
