Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I just ventured out into the back yard and the thing on the fence shows that we had over 62ml rain since yesterday late arvo.
All clouds and no sunshine, so I expect more rain today. I did manage to pick a good load of tomatoes for my salads when the weather improves and moves to salad mode.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Morning all.

Ouch. Bernie. In all seriousness, try walking backwards for about 100 m and the sideways like the AFL boundary umpires.

Mine goes regularly and I reckon this really helps. I think it's my hamstring that gets tight and pulls things out of alignment.

Good morning 17c, predicting 26c today, we have a light westerly wind across the lake, suppose to turn N/E this arvo.
We had a heavy downpour about 12.30 y'day, I was waiting to collect Jacob from school, only lasted about 20 minutes, light rain for about an hour then just heavy black clouds drifting around, no more rain. Jacob was playing keyboard in the Big Gig concert at the high school last night, he's really enjoyed music & has a natural talent on the keyboard.

Hope Carol is pain free today Bernie, my eldest son has problems with his sciatic nerve, he injured it windsurfing when he was young, can hardly walk when it decided to play up, rest seems to be the best for it, along with pain relief.

Off to the eye specialist with Bruce today, Glaucoma & lenses implant check, so no bowls, Christmas party Thursday.

Good morning everyone, we had a cuppla mm of rain last night and a bit of a light show. It's already 26° here. Going to the doc this arvo for our annual skin check. He will find something to freeze off I reckon. I hope Carol is better this morning Bernie. Pinched nerves aren't much fun.
How did the sauce making go RnB?
Get well soon all those that aren't well. Safe travels.
Cheers

Good morning all. What a day ahead. After 18mths finally we have someone coming to do vacuuming, steam mop, ensuite shower/toilet. They do not do spare bedrooms or toilet, shower. Cannot hear ourselves talk as of 20 mins ago as roofman here and tiles being gernied then 3 coats of paint. He is also putting insulation under roof where van used to live as in summer just too hot to spend time there.

Hope Carol recovers from the pinched nerve real quick, they are nasty when they hit and then hang around for a while.

Not sure if it was on this thread or the Loxton River Level thread, but I was talking about the issue with the street gutter drains going straight into the river and if they planned to block them ....... the question was answered yesterday when we drove through town. Pools of water and clear signs of water running out through the levee bank under the big bags of dirt, just where the road dipped down a bit for each gutter drain .... and on the opposite side, pools of water where the gutter drains are ..... yes, someone didn't think of the obvious places water could enter before they built the levee, then dug it up, then laid it again with different clay type dirt on the base and the 2 mtr tall dirt bags inside the wire frame things .... they even put plastic on the river side to help prevent the water soaking through ...... but they didn't think to plug the gutter drains
Too late to dig it up again, the water is already at road height ...... the road was closed again today, I wonder what genius idea they'll have this time .... and who will get there butt kicked for making such an obvious error

Morning folks its cold here the wind is not helping unfortunately I had to wander out for a dental appointment.

Pinched nerves are a no no have to have mine burnt at lest once a year.

Been a busy time here with not only the tomato sauce production but 2 kilos of long red hot chilli were smoked, preserved and a few jars of chilli jam. Also have to do the Zucchini relish and the lemons that Dot gave us. A few people will be getting home produce for Christmas.

Started doing the tomato on the kitchen stove but was taking too long so bougt a 40 litre stock pot and used the camping gas ring. Need to clean the garage out and set up the gear full time.
Every thing else is good here and just been told we have the grandson for a few hours this evening, cheers Robert.

Looks like you're been a busy beaver R'n'b.
The only tomato sauce we have is when the g/kids come... neither Carol or myself use it.
