Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bernie, prickly pear plants look different to Bob’s photos, no Dad’s looked like the cacti in the photos. We’ve seen plenty of prickly pear in our travels.

George, if you are ever passing through Miles in central Qld, stop in at the Historic Village and War museum. They have a full on history of the prickly pear and the moth they used to eradicate it back to sustainable levels. It's a pretty interesting story.

Morning everyone.
We done the run to Maryborough and back, Carol now down to one day a week then fortnight then one a month then finished...we hope :D
That complaint I have opened with the Office of Fair Trading  has hit a stumbling block.
I filled out their on line complaints form....but when it gets to the A/hols web page I cant get any further...he don't have one and without being able to proceed any further because you have to fill in all the questions...GRRR I rang them and was told to resend my complaint again with the added words that I cant proceed because of that question.
So I did I then got another message including the complaint page...so I started filling it in again....grrr ..guess what still cant get past that question....So on the phone again...
This time I asked for a supervisor....and she tried her end to fill in the page...guess what she couldn't get passed that one question   I thought they were here to help
More to come on this today....which will interfere with my intended day OFF ;) ;) ;) ;)
Anyway keep safe.
Bernie.

"tanks" here---
Outside temp at Dysart is 25c and a clear sky with a few light wispy very high clouds.
I don't know what I will do today.
I started out thinking of drafting a list of things to do--then I realised that I did most of the tasks yesterday.
It's time to start thinking about this year personal income tax return. Ugh !!
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Hi Tanks, I have not filled in an income tax since I retired in 2001. Thats the best thing of having no money etc. Hope your house sells quickly. You should not have too much to pack and take back to WA only memories. For others Keith and I spoke on the phone yesterday he is looking forward to returning to WA.

Cheers
