Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Afternoon everyone, went to the Mannum ute and truck show this morning, maybe 50% of the entries showed up yet it was sold out ...... Maybe the $$ are biting hard and the truck owners/drivers can't afford to be off the road for the 2 days required top clean the truck and then show it.
Back to installing the rest of this off grid system and see if it works. Unfortunately, there were roughly 30 of the s/h Tindo 250w panels in the workshop and all the racking etc along with all the solar cable, so the 1500w on the roof at the moment is all we have, so maybe not self sufficient just yet. I'm thinking around 10kw of solar should be enough, so still a few to source and install.

Arvo everyone, Last night I tried to watch and understand the 24hr race (le Mans) could not for the life of me get the gist of it all with 3 different categories and the safety cars gave up after 2 hrs. Overcast but no rain as yet. Have lamb shanks slowly simmering in the slow cooker for tea, smells just right.

Good morning everyone. Its 16° here heading for a top of 22., so the man says. Might get a few showers of rain too.
Cleaned the solar panels on the house roof yesty. It's not much fun trying to get a platform ladder onto the garden on the sunny side of our place. We are off to the ocean beach for a walk and breakfast at the cafe there. Going to the docs after that. I hope everybody has a top day. Safe travels.
Cheers

Good morning 6c, maximum predicted 20c, really heavy fog can’t see across the lake.

Horrific bus crash late last night near Branxton in the Hunter Valley, 10 dead, 11 transported to hospital, 18 survived, they were travelling from a wedding venue, sad news feel for their families.

Update, police officer just reported 25 people transported to hospital, the 58 year old bus driver has been arrested.

Fog lifting slight breeze from the west, calm lake, it hasn’t been very busy considering it’s a long weekend.

Shirley, the "arested" title may be a news beat-up. It is usual for police to have a blood sample for booze and drugs taken at a hospital in the event of a serious accident, unless it is the Victoria Premier involvement. The bus driver has not been charged with anything yet.

Morning all,
Sad news, yesterday I lost my only surviving Aunt, she passed away at 1255 hours. She was born in Katoomba NSW on the 14 October 1918 yes 104 years of age she had twelve children ten still alive, lost her husband in 1970. Still lived in the mountains.

"tanks" here---
The NSW Asst. Commissioner of Police has now stated that the bus driver has officially been arrested and charges are pending. She would not disclose what those charges were. In addition to the 10 deceased there are several persons with severed limbs. 25 taken to hospital.
