At Moorine rock for a week, the rock itself, not the town. Its about 16 k west of the town itself, turnoff is by a roadside rest area

Perenjori south road - Perenjori is the best place so far this year.

If you can get hold of the Wheatbelt / Granite Trail maps as they show a tour of about 12 sites that may interest you.

Local ''I'' shop(?) should have them in hard copy ( paper maps ).
Good place for an onsite stop is Mangowine Homestead near Nungarrin ( say Hi to Bob, great host caretaker ) $10 p/n and all basic facilities.

Enjoy looking for the elusive orchids and seeing the wild flowers in full carpet type bloom, remember it only happens in WA.

I have seen them the last time we were here and they are beautiful. I enjoy the challenge of the Orchid spotting, once you get your orchid eye in you find them everywhere
