A Special Day T1 !!!

Saw them a few years ago, my ears were ringing for two days after. Two rows from the front was probably a bit close Enjoy:)

Last time we were upstairs in the lounge area, centre and about 5 rows back, so close the middle in both directions. The pressure of the music was making the floor and seats vibrate in perfect rhythm, you not only heard it but felt it as well, add everyone tapping their feet to the beat and the whole place was shaking, love those old theatres, they add so much to the experience. The last concert was based around the “Wish you Were Here” album, I think this one might be based around “Dark Side of the Moon” but they also played tracks from many of the other albums as well. Amazing to watch what I thought was synthesised on a keyboard actually plucked out on a guitar, the slide guitar is another favourite when the bring that out, the mixture of sound being actually performed on stage, not mixed at a studio, the real deal, love it.

Terry, a few years ago we went to see a cover band called "The Dark Side", it was hard to tell the difference between the real band and the cover band. Their music was identical.

love the kombi tents, there were more kombi tents than kombi's at one of the VW get togethers. We finally have our kombi back on the road and Margaret has the Kombi smile back on the dial. it sat for 12mths waiting for me to put an engine in it, after wasting a full years rego I finally gave in and paid someone else to do it, that really hurt, but I've just gotta face the fact that the body won't do that stuff any more.
