Hi, all.

Might just sell the "Doghouse" and buy a ute and a good sized fifth wheeler - something mrs shonky can drive on her car licence..

If you do, register it in VIC. Same fee as a box trailer

The (century+) old Corowa-Wahgunyah bridge, built when there was still a Customs House on the Vic border, alternates one-way traffic with lights (single lane bridge!) limited to 20km/h... and it has a 12t limit, 'Buses excepted' ...

I'm sure the excreta will collide with the air circulation device in large quantities if a loaded bus falls through the old timber decking.

Fortunately, Girt comes in at 8.1t, so we're OK. :-D
But I agree with the general thrust that driver education is paramount. As a lawyer once told me 'ignorance of the law is no excuse'.
We especially need other drivers to be educated on the law relating to "Do not overtake turning vehicle" signs on m/hs & caravans!
I've had quite a few run-ins with idiots who can't read.
