Lol,lol, lol. Know the feeling of not sleeping much, think it is an age thing, maybe we don't need as much sleep.
Most nurses are a breed of their own very caring, lovely natured humans, hope they were lovely girls holding your hand, lol, lol.

Mike, DId you try EV TIMMS like I suggested? They are one of the oldest truck wreckers in Melbourne.

Mark will know exactly what you're after and know over the phone if he has any.

If you need rims, try EV TIMMS in Melbourne. Ask for Mark. they have lots.

At my age Shirley I cant afford to be fussy
I have the utmost admiration for nurses as the shit that many of the patients put them through is unbelievable.
One old bugger(hang on he was my age) was such a pain in the rear end, every thing had to be done for him. the buzzer was going all the time. I want a drink (they held the cup for him) roll me over blah blah all day and night. he was Ok when he wanted to be but just wanted the attention I think.
I was put into a diabetic ward and I was the only one not diabetic I think and they were all on drips or regular checks and the bloody drip machines sound like out little junsi alarms, so all day and night these alarms were going off and all I could think about was bloody stopping this alarm
I have not been in a hospital for over 30 years and I could not believe the sh*t that patients put the nurses through and how lazy and stupid some were. One lad beside me was preparing to loose a few toes etc but he was still mucking up his insulin, a few times miles too much and then once not enough. I thought by the time you were starting to have toes etc amputated you would have that sort of thing well under control.
Many were there for amputations of some part or another but most seemed to try and get around the controls etc. First day they gave me sweets and I dont eat sweets so they were all after it and I did not know they were all diabetic so the lad next bed ate it and bingo his sugar was out. When I asked why he took it he said I love sugary things. (bloody idiot in my books)

I did get onto Timms and they are pretty sure they have a wheel, however the problem is getting it. I will wait until after the Canberra rally and see what I can arrange when I'm back on home turf. Thanks for the tip Jon.

Mike, You could always try some of the old country town wrecking yards on the way home from the rally. One of them is a certainty to have the rim that you need. Bedfords were everywhere in the 60's + 70's.

Mike, I can pick it up for you if needed. But then need to work out how to get it to you.
