Wow! OK, we need photos & a report on it once you've got it plugged in to something.
About time a lot of us finally get to hear there is something/anything that really does the job as described!

I'm hoping my two are in the buddle of parcels Bruce collected from Mannum post office before they either sent them back or had to rent a new warehouse to store Brian's Evil Bay purchases  I wanted to fit one of them to this off grid install to test it out doing the hard yards, guess it will have to be the Purnong Rd house system now.... are you busy over Christmas Bruce ;)

I wonder how one of these would go as a DC-DC charger?
Might have to tell it to start every time? :(

Bought a much more expensive top of the line unit a few yrs back with just that idea, you have to reprogram it every time you power it up and it can only charge from a higher voltage battery to a lower voltage battery.
Far better to buy a unit designed for DC to DC charging that can handle the constant high current a lithium battery demands, yet can be programmed to start and stop charging when you want rather than what the manufacturer thinks you need. One day Redarc will wake up and realise they aren't building units that suit the changing RV world, hopefully before they loos too much market share that they can't claw back.

Yup. Market is growing, there are some opportunites.

I had been considering just their charger (ISDT) as a option to the Cell log 8s but cannot see an alarm output feature.

I took the plunge and purchased one of the SBMS 40 units from Electrodacus it was $320Aud (unit cost & postage) - took about twelve days to get here

I have built a battery box (not as swank as Engine numbers) to house four Winston 160ah cells, I just purchased Winstons locally from Evworks (about a ten minute drive)

The plan is to have a play with the lithiums with a longer term plan to install a domestic inverter fridge in the caravan, currently the battery box is powering some festive lights through an el cheap inverter drawing about 20amps for some five hours - the electrodacus seems to be doing what it is suppose to, my 80watt solar panel (which I paid big dollars for years ago) can't cope

A couple of pictures attached (hopefully)

Looks good Eddy!! More ideas for those interested in keeping the mind active.
Is it easy to check voltage of cells... cell by cell? I couldn't see any readout you might have.
Maybe something simple like these?

Hi Bruce
The display is pretty small - the unit has a built in wifi access point where you can log in with a computer and see the basics (I have an old iPad which I am hoping to use as a monitor inside the van eventually)
Attached is a screen shot of my computer screen
