It Had To Happen

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Have not seen Chris & Val at the campground.
Maybe cos we have never met, so wouldn’t recognise them. 😁
Have you told them what we’re driving? That might be helpful.
We’ve decided that, since ALL of NSW is now a red zone, it doesn’t matter which route home we take. We’ll still have to self-isolate for 14 days when we get home. We were going to travel via the far outback to avoid possible exposure to Covid.
That’s still the plan, but we might visit some rellies closer to the Big Smoke en route. If you call 150km ‘closer’…
Ho hum. :?
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Hi Ray 150 klm is mighty close when you consider the actions of Sydney siders. Take into account delivery drivers from 100 or more businesses going about their daily deliveries.

Stay safe, keep moving until you are home. Good luck Robert

You do realise that if you stop the trucks at the border you would starve to death long before you died of old age or someone desperate for food murdered you in your bed just to get what you had in the cupboards ......
Govt after govt have ignored the need for a proper rail system in preference for roads because a lot more voters drive cars than ride trains. It was only natural that these same roads would be used by trucks to move the goods faster than the trains could, and so the snowball effect took hold. Build a better road so the voters don't complain about the trucks wrecking the road and slowing them down in their rush to get from one place to the next.

I didn't say ALL truck drivers were numb nuts I was ref to the removalist driver. As with everything in this world there are nuts and numb nuts and this idiot did not even wear a mask .Yes we do depend on road transport (not 100%) but it's the nig nogs that are doing the damage and making so called life a bloody misery. No one would come to my place to rob me of food because my crappy cooking history is world wide. Everyone not just the truck drivers need to be responsible, how hard is it to wear a mask FFS? every one knows these virus's are mostly air born (droplet spread) thats why you are asked to wear masks.

Dot, I've read in several places, that your scones were almost world-famous, so I was wondering how you'd go making them at gun point.
