Lesley I don't even bother clicking on that "url" at all.
I just copy & paste it in straight from the address bar in my browser.
OK, it's not neat & tidy but I love the way it cut's off some if it's on this website.
eg.
Straight copy/paste
posting.php?mode=reply&f=15&t=983
When I in fact pasted this ...

Code: Select all

http://www.ozervnews.com/forum/posting.php?mode=reply&f=15&t=983
But if it's not on this website...
https://www.google.com.au/
When I pasted this ....

Code: Select all

https://www.google.com.au/

Hi, all.

FYI the genset which was meant to arrive this Wednesday just turned up. Sorry if I'm going off track, adminperson.

Since found out they have their own technical team, not a call centre offshore. Also found out that Honda are made in China.
More later - must check out the new toy while the sun's shining.
See you on the back roads,

Hi, all

Well the Bushpower genset is up and running and doing all the correct things. We hope to be on the road tomorrow as the weather appears to be improving. Touch wood.

Hi, all.

For the curious, the new 3.8amp genset started first hit this PM but struggled a bit with the twin tub. FYI it will actually power the Imac, which I thought required 6.5 amps. Catch is that if watching a movie make sure it's subtitled... The neighbour's 2kw Honda is like a sewing machine by comparison. Ah, well, maybe if I fitted a Victa muffler?

Possibly the "m" stands for miles ;)
