Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I don’t normally boast about my expensive trips… but I’ve just come back from the vet.

Wife just screamed at me "You aren't even listening, are you?"
What a strange way to start a conversation ......

My thought for today is "people dress inappropriately ie scruffy when attending a funeral"

Depends on who’s being buried, Dottie.
If you’re farewelling a scruffy sod, then scruffy is OK.
If you’re burying a toff, it’s not.
When I retired I gave the op shop all my ties — except the black one and the Royal one issued when I was a minor player in the visit by Charlie and Di.

Scruffy would based on the person's perception of what they classed to be appropriate, as would over dressed/showy .... What a person wore to a high level dignitary's funeral would not be appropriate at a bogan funeral .... or at a bikie funeral ..... but it would be no less a solemn for those attending

Disagree T1, If a person considers attending a funeral it is out of respect for the dead one, yesterday there were a couple there with their arses hanging out their dirty jeans, others in dirty (stained) baggy torn trackies, others had not even attempted to comb their hair. The dead guy was always clean neat and tidy. Another thing was the FD asked people to turn their mobiles of but some numb nuts apparently didn't think that applied to them.
