I have felt pretty ordinary since I had my double shot of Pfizer. The GP didn't want me to have AZ. All my kids had Pfizer, they all had the same sort of reaction, sore kidneys, felt Ike crap etc, but came good after a few days. But I seem to have this brain fog. Sort of like grog fog, but same even if don't drink for a few days. I'm back to the doc on Monday after the yearly blood tests etc, so it will be interesting to hear what he has to say. I just think that it depends on your genetic inheritance and there is bugger all that you can do about it. A bit like choosing your relatives.

Yes Dot, being Tasmanian has it's problems and we are a bit sensitive to foreigners, being born two heads we think a lot more than humans, but the scar from the amputation does itch a bit. :) It also has it's advantages, clean air, wonderful fresh food, virtually no pollution until the wind comes from the nth and we get the crap air from Aus cities and the deep blue sky turns grey. Now no tourists and our roads, free of idiots in cars and towing caravans, driving at 40kph. Most people want it to remain that way and keep out the growing viral problem sweeping the planet.

Life here has not changed at all since the pandemic, other than when it first got here and the stupid restrictions on socialisation up until now. Now we have the Aus politicians pushing for us to open up and suffer the same as Aus, all for profit and population growth. Insanity at its worst in my opinion and our economy has actually improved by not having more people here and in Aus.

NP, I would pretty much have to agree with most of your last paragraph. Except I think the pollies are pushing to re-open everything, because the people that control the airlines and the travel booking companies are leaning on them and getting a fair bit of press from time to time.

Yes vested interests always get their way with politicians sadly and they still haven't established any dedicated quarantine facilities around the country, other than Howard springs. More vested interests pulling the strings at the expense of the people and future.

Well, we know who it was now https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-12-01/ ... /100667884  Check out the ABC News channel and watch all the pollies, no face masks and shaking hands with everyone.
If they do the right thing, everyone of them should be put in hotel quarantine until all those involved last the 14 days after there are no positive cases in that group ....... It would be interesting to see how many went in testing negative but test positive within the 14 days ..... If they are so proud of their quarantine facilities and how safe they are, they should be happy to do their lock down in the hotels ....... What's the bet they don't
