Re: Good morning daily
I didn't know Angus Taylor or Barnaby Joyce were involved in the Cubbie stn sale?supersparky wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 7:01 pm Would that be the same gubment that allowed Cubbie Station to be sold to overseas interests? They have since sold it, but now, those same 'oversea interests' own nearly all the egg producers on the east coast.

I'm thinking it was little Johnny, or one of his goons from back in the day.
No idea really who allowed the Chinese to buy the egg producers, but it is someone from the current gubment. We can't blame little Johnny or Barnaby for everything.

Re: Good morning daily
Still not sure they actually did, Pace farms did have a high level of Chinese investment, but they still don't own them .... other than that, can't find who they bought or is they were barn laid or free range ..... might be one of those beat up stories that seem to do the rounds at election time .... China is actually not doing that well financially, that is why they sold out of some much rural land in Aust and now lease areas rather than own them, they are still close to one of the major residential owners $$ wise, but there are a number of countries close on their heels ..... Seems Aust is a safe haven as far as property markets to invest in, safer than currency markets and makes more profit than simply investing in gold and the high cost of keeping it secure ....supersparky wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 10:47 pm I'm thinking it was little Johnny, or one of his goons from back in the day.

Re: Good morning daily
The major players in both Pace Farms and Kinross Farms is a company called ROC Investments. Kinross are presently having a bit of an issue with bird flu. Just the same as Pace did when they were in the process of being sold.

Good morning everyone.
No shortage of eggs at our place
And it's bacon and eggs day... coincidence...
Not much rain yesterday.... till late arvo...we had a thunderstorm..
And nothing much achieved... thought about putting the battery charger back in the motorhome... maybe think about again today
.
Son's as good as he can be Dot... just a waiting game for another four weeks...
I haven't looked at the BOM but it's still overcast outside.
Till tomorrow.
Keep safe
Bernie
Big thick fog outside...

Morning all,
Bit windy and 20 predicted all week. Looks like summer is fading.
